Our Story:
In the 1990’s, Rick & Kathleen developed a few herb blends in the kitchen
to supplement the slower months at the family’s greenhouse and florist.
Harvest Barn’s debut was at a small fair in Brattleboro, VT in the pouring rain.
Harvest Barn’s phenomenal success grew one small fair at a time with the
help of dedicated customers returning each year.
All Halladay’s products begin in the kitchen, not in the lab. New ideas come
from staff members, customers and midnight inspirations. Pads of paper
and Kathleen’s famous file folders adorn the shop and house. Staff members
are the front line “tasters.”
Halladay’s products are all created for busy families! Just add a few fresh
ingredients to our delicious blends and create memorable meals or even
party items. Halladay’s has gone from a humble beginning of 4 herb blends
to over 60 items being sold in over 700 stores.
We’re a great alternative to “run of the mill” foods and seasoning blends.
Our mixes are all-natural and do not contain “artificial flavoring”. Mix
Halladay’s Tomato Basil blend with olive oil & vinegar to top a salad. Shake
Dill Dip on fish, pasta, potato salad or fresh vegetables for a splash of fabulous flavor. The cooking possibilities with Harvest Barn are endless!

RECIPE: Serves 8-10. Pour 10 cups of water into a stockpot. Add the beans and spice mixture,
reserving the pasta for later. Simmer for 1 1/2 hours. In medium skillet, brown 1/2 lb. sweet Italian
sausage, add 2 celery ribs and 2 carrots and saute for 3-5 minutes. Add the sausage and vegetables to the soup. Ad a 28 oz. can of diced tomatoes and simmer until beans are soft. Bring to a boil
and add pasta. Simmer 30 minutes. Add salt & pepper to taste. Vegetarian Version: Substitute
vegan sausage or delete.
