Our hope is that through word, music, fellowship and prayer, you will experience the presence of God in your life. We are grateful to have those who are our guests in worship today. During the early part of the service we ask everyone to sign our Friendship Pads or sheets so that we may have a record of your attendance. If you are a guest and would like more information about our church, please leave us your contact information. If you are a member, our Congregational Care team will be checking for people who have missed four Sundays in a row and making a contact to share our concern and see if there is a need for which we could offer support. We would appreciate each person signing the Friendship Pads in order to have accurate information. We don't want someone to be absent for several Sundays and not know they are missed. This system will help us more effectively extend our care for one another. Those who are interested in joining First UMC Mocksville are asked to contact Pastor Glenn at 336.751.2503 Recent messages are on the church website: www.firstumcmocksville.org. If Pastor Glenn is needed after office hours, he can be reached at his cell number, 336.813.0425. Bulletins for Kids are available in the narthex of the Sanctuary and in the lobby of the Family Life Center. Bulletins contain Biblical learning activities for children ages 3-6 and 7-12. We want to thank Megan Seaford for her service as one of our Nursery Workers. Due to other commitments Megan has decided to step down from this position. We have been blessed by her service to Christ, our children and their families. In the meantime Amanda Harris has agreed to cover the nursery each week while we seek someone to fill the vacant slot. Amanda and Megan have been sharing the job thus far on alternating Sundays. If you or someone you know is interested, please submit an application which is available along with a job description in the church office. The paid nursery workers alternate weeks and work with volunteers during the two worship services and Sunday school.
