Jonathan Mikulas-Head Boys Soccer
Jonathan Mikulas was born in San Antonio, but was raised
almost entirely in Plano, TX. He graduated from Plano Senior
High School in 1994 and then attended the University of
Texas at Dallas. He graduated from UTD in 1998 with a B.A.
in Historical Studies.
Jonathan comes to RHS from Liberty High School where he
has served as the varsity assistant for boys soccer since 2008.
Jonathan has been privileged to be part of the Liberty soccer
program’s transition from a fledgling new program to a state
-ranked regional finalist. He also holds a National Diploma
from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.
Prior to his time at Liberty, Jonathan worked at Roach MS
and also spent eight years in Plano ISD.
Jonathan strives for excellence in the classroom as well and
has spent many hours working as a curriculum writer for the
FISD Social Studies department. Jonathan is passionate
about building relationships both inside and outside of
school and is especially proud of his membership in the LHS
C-Hall Crockpot Club. He is also an avid reader and enjoys
serving others, including a trip to New York City this summer
to work with the Relief Bus.
Allison Lau-Lead LOTE
Señora Allison Lau earned her BA in Spanish from the
University of Texas at Austin in 1991. She became a Teach
For America corps member and attained certification in
Secondary Spanish, Bilingual Education and English as a
Second Language. She taught in Los Angeles, Houston,
Boston, New Jersey, and Plano before coming to Lone Star
High School four years ago.
During her first year of teaching in Houston, she received the
award for Teacher of the Year at her campus. Last July, she
was honored as the Frisco Rough Riders Teacher of the
Month. At her current campus, Lone Star High School, her
peers selected her for the Integrity Award for the 2013-2014
school year.
Allison currently sponsors the Spanish National Honor
Society. She co-chairs the Improvement Committee and is
involved in the professional development planning for Lone
Star.
She has been happily married to her husband, Jeff, for 22
years, and they have two future Lions. Jeremy is 12 and
Emmie is 10. They enjoy road trips, playing sports, and
going to the lake to be with family.
Jonathan has three amazing kids – Taylor (9), Aidan (6), and
Avery (3).

Katie Rackley-Head Volleyball
Katie Schnitzius Rackley was born and raised in Lewisville, Texas. She graduated from Lewisville High School where she
played volleyball and soccer. Katie then pursed college volleyball first at North Central Texas College and then
Southeastern Oklahoma State University as a setter and defensive specialist.
This is Katie’s 8th year at Liberty in which she has helped develop the program at all levels. Before Frisco ISD, Katie
worked with Lewisville ISD, were she was the assistant to a State Champion soccer team at The Colony. She has
enjoyed coaching club at TAV and Victory at all levels. Katie has also coached track and soccer and taught Teen
Leadership, Health and PE. Katie is a very passionate person and looking forward to the new adventures that will come
with opening Reedy High School.
She has two very funny children who love being on the move.
