"SPELLING BEE" is a competition in English popular in the USA and other countries, and now
fast catching up in India. It is a very interesting academic contest which enhances the skills of
students in several aspects related to English language. These days language skills are being given
very high priority in enabling young students to face the world with confidence. It is very beneficial
to young students to be exposed to and participate in this sort of competition right from the early
stages of learning. This Spelling Bee programme is scientifically designed by very experienced
professionals in English language teaching and testing, who are affiliated with reputed high-profile
academic institutions, like NITs, IITs etc.

SCHOOL LEVEL : Winners at School Level would receive Winner's Certificates ; Commendation Certificates
would be awarded to those qualifying to participate in the Inter-School competition (District Level). All the other
participants would receive Participation Certificates.
DISTRICT LEVEL : Winners at Distrtict Level would receive Winner's Certificates and Trophies. Commendation
Certificate and Medals would be awarded to those qualifying to participate in the next level of competition (State
Level). PARTICIPATION CERTIFICATE WOULD BE ISSUED to all other participants.
STATE LEVEL : Winners at State Level would receive Winner's Certificates and Trophies. Commendation
Certificate and Medals would be awarded to those qualifying to participate in the next level of competition (National
Level). PARTICIPATION CERTIFICATE WOULD BE ISSUED to all other participants.
NATIONAL LEVEL : Winners at National Level would receive Winner's Certificates, Trophies, Cash Awards
and Gift Hampers. Commendation Certificate and Medals would be awarded to those qualifying to participate in
the Oral Round. All other participants would receive PARTICIPATION CERTIFICATES.

• The decision of the organizers will be final.
• Based on Cumulative marks of all the rounds, three winners in each category will be declared
at every level of competition.
• The qualifying marks and selection process will be decided at the discretion of the organizer.
• At every level, roughly one third of the students will be selected to the next level based on the
marks in the written rounds.
• Every participant would receive FREE PREPARATORY BOOKLET at school level. The next
level qualifiers would receive District and State level Free Preparatory Booklets respectively.
• The Registration Fee at School Level is Rs.150/ - (inclusive of taxes) The Fee for District and
State Level will be communicated to the qualified students after every Level.
• Only students who qualify at School Level will be eligible to participate in District Level. The
students who qualify at District Level will be eligible to participate in State Level Competition.
The students who qualify at State Level will be eligible to participate in National Level
Championship.
• The competition begins at School Level and progresses up to Stae Level through District level.
• Every student from Class I to Class 10 can participate by registering through the School and
shall require Parent's / Guardian's consent for participation.
