Information on how to enter form part of the Terms and Conditions of entry. Entry into this competition is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions by each Entrant. Participation in the competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions. All entries are via the Salmat Showdown competition website as advertised on salmatshowdown.com (including redirect: salmatshowdown.com.au). The Promoter is Salmat MediaForce P/L (ABN 50 001 702 129) of 89-91 Monash Drive, Dandenong South, VIC 3175 Australia. th st The competition runs from 8.30am AEST on Monday 30 March 2015 until 5pm AEST on Friday 1 May 2015 and no other entries after this date will be accepted. Entrants must be 18 years or over. Employees of the Promoter and the Fred Hollows Foundations and their families are ineligible to enter. Entrants must submit their details via the competition online registration form at salmatshowdown.com. The Promoter will undergo an entry selection process, in order to meet venue limitations of number of entrants on the night. All details provided by Entrants via the online form must be deemed valid in order for entry to be considered. The designs or scamp that is judged the winning concept (“concept”) will need to be finalised by the winning creative agency in conjunction with the Promoter and Fred Hollows Foundation so that it is fully print/build ready. The above mentioned refinement process will be the sole responsibility of the winning creative/agency. However the Promoter and Fred Hollows will provide feedback and instruction if sought and will be covering all print/build costs. All entries become and remain the joint property of the Promoter and The Fred Hollows Foundation. The entrant(s) agrees to assign all intellectual property rights in the concept (including any refinements) to ensure that the concept is print/build ready and execute all documents in favour of the Promoter to perfect ownership of all intellectual property rights in the concept and shall obtain all necessary written consent and waivers in respect of any moral right. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner indemnify the promoter in respect of any loss or damage suffered or incurred by the Promoter or Fred Hollows in the event that the concept infringes the moral or intellectual property rights of any person or entity. The winner will receive 2 x tickets to the Spikes Asia conference 2015, including return flights for 2 to Singapore, 3 nights’ accommodation and $2,000 spending money. The winner will also receive entry of their winning concept into the 2015 Spikes Asia Conference and the 2016 ADMA AC&E Awards, as well as 3 seats for a meal accompanied by the Promoter at Rockpool Bar & Grill - 66 Hunter Street, Sydney NSW 2000. Total prize valued at $10,000 AUD. st The winner will be announced on the night at 9.30pm on Friday, 1 May 2015 at the event premises, Harbour 220 – Level 15, Hudson House, 131 Macquarie Street, Sydney, Australia. Winners will be decided based on a judging panel and criteria outlined in the creative competition brief, and available for download via the competition website. By registering, each entrant agrees that any personal information collected, held and used by the Promoter will be treated in accordance with the Privacy Policy available on the website at the time of registration and also at http://d1vn1ujystjd35.cloudfront.net/media/256187/salmat_privacy_policy.pdf The winner/s will have their full name/s, winning concept and agency published via the Promoter’s website, its social media assets and PR. As such, the winning agency agrees to work closely with the Promoter’s PR agency (Buchan) to promote their concept. The prize is not redeemable for cash and is non-transferable and cannot be assigned. If for any reason the prize(s) become unavailable for any reason which is out of the Promoter’s control then a similar prize of equal value will be awarded in lieu to the sole discretion of the Promoter. th In the event that for any reason whatsoever a winner does not take an element of the prize by December 30 2016 then the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash or an alternative Prize will not be awarded in lieu of the prize. Any contact details entered incorrectly shall invalidate the entry. The Promoter is not responsible for receipt of incomplete or incomprehensible entries. All such inaccurate entries will be deemed invalid. No responsibility is accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries. The Promoter and, its respective associates and related bodies corporate, agents, employees, officers and directors take no responsibility for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind what so ever (including without limitation damages to person or property) caused in whole or in part, directly or indirectly by participation in the promotion, or the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the prize or participation in any prize related activities except any liability that cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law). Each winner indemnifies the Promoter against any loss, claim, damage or expense suffered by any other party in any way arising from this competition and its prizes or the use thereof. By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to the use of his or her name, and company name, address, likeness, photograph and/ or voice or statements by winner for advertising, marketing or publicity purposes, without notice or compensation. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from acceptance of the prize winnings. Independent financial advice should be sought. The Promoter reserves the right to request winners to provide proof of age, identity and residency at the nominated prize delivery address. Terms and Conditions – Salmat Creative Showdown 2015 22. 23. The laws of New South Wales govern these terms and conditions and the parties submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of that state. This competition is a game of skill and chance plays no part in the determination of winners. All valid Entries will st be judged by a panel of appropriately qualified judges from 6pm on Friday 1 May 2015 at Harbour 220 to determine one (1) winner judged to be the best from all eligible entries received. All eligible entries will be judged on a basis of originality, creative merit, and completion of game. The judges’ decision is final and correspondence will be entered into.
