What is ttcs.uni?
The ttcs.uni Graduate Trainee Programme is an incubation
course for SAP skills and consultancy. It is designed to breed
experts in SAP through intensive SAP and business processes
training, on-the-job training and mentorship.
Currently, the ttcs.uni programme attracts some of the best graduates from
different tertiary institutions in Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana, South Africa
and Uganda. This year, the program will be expanding to more countries
in West and Francophone Africa including Ghana, Nigeria, Cameroon and
Senegal.
What does it involve?
In-classroom SAP Skills Training
The core of the ttcs.uni programme involves intensive, in-depth and accelerated
SAP skills training delivered by experienced SAP consultants. The ttcs.uni
programme covers all functional areas of SAP solutions provided by TTCS
including SAP Financials, Logistics, Human Capital Management, Analytics as well
as database and technology.
Business Skills
Being an SAP consultant requires, beyond SAP skills, excellent critical thinking,
problem solving and analytical skills. The ttcs.uni graduate programme stimulates
the development of these skills through numerous challenge activities throughout
the course of the programme.
Practical Learning & Mentorship
Following the successful completion of in-classroom training, trainees are
attached to projects where they get on-the-job experience under the coaching of
experienced consultants.
Certification
For a trainee to complete the programme and graduate into a Junior SAP
Consultant, they need to sit for SAP certification. SAP certification is an
internationally recognised qualification awarded to consultants who demonstrate
in-depth knowledge in their SAP areas of specialisation.

SAP Skills Training
SAP Skills are among the most sought after
skills in the world of technology in business.
Under the ttcs.uni programme, participants are taken
through intensive in-class training (theoretical learning)
and thereafter, practical SAP skills training while they are
attached to live projects. Skills incubation is fundamentally
spanned across 12 months, afterwhich the expectation is
that participants will be competent enough to operate as
fully capable SAP consultants.
Constant training and skills upgrading are core areas
of employee professional development, so even
after successfully completing initial training, junior
consultants undertake in-house training in their areas of
specialisation.
SAP Specialisation Areas
SAP is broad, and SAP consultants typically specialise
in one or two functional areas. Broadly speaking, these
are compartmentalised into SAP Financials, Logistics,
Human Resources, Business Intelligence, databases and
technology.
ttcs.uni Campus Invasions
Twenty Third Century Systems is coming to a
university near you!
TTCS is going to be visiting universities as part of the Campus Invasions
drive. We will be holding informative and fun sessions with students, where
we will be introducing students to our company, SAP and the world of
business solutions. Each intake for these informative sessions will be up to
a number of one hundred (100) students per university. The ideal audiences
for campus invasions are students with studies aligned with SAP solution
scopes and specialisation areas such as commerce, social sciences,
business and administration and information systems, including related areas
of study.
The events calendar with the visits schedule can be accessed on the TTCS

ttcs.uni Student Community
The ttcs.uni Student Cmmunity is a virtual hangout for students aspiring to
take up careers in SAP. Wihile the Campus Invasions are going to be limited
to 100 students per institution, the ttcs.uni student community remains open
to any student who is undertaking undergraduate studies in any tertiary
institution in Africa.
The Student Community is made up of many online communication tools
such as a blog, social media tools and periodicals. Students will benefit
through the Student Community through career advice, conversations on
TTCS, SAP and technology, as well as information to guide them on how
they can become a part of TTCS.

SAP Coaching &
Mentorship
When trainees are placed on projects, they are attached
to experienced and certified senior SAP consultants who
have vast knowledge of SAP, business in general and
consulting.
Knowledge, in this mode, is transferred via both coaching
and mentorship. On-the-job coaching involves practical
training relating especially to SAP skills development
through experiential learning. On the other hand,
mentorship is the complementary form of resource
developing which involves guided mapping of the
trainees’ success, professionally and personally.
This process largely involves career mapping and
consultancy skills development. The mentorship stage
goes beyond the one-year lifetime of the skills training to
ensure constant development at all stages in the working
life at TTCS.
