innovating to save lives :fi'USAID ~ • Jhpiego FROM THE AMERICAN PEOPLE • • an affiliate of Johns Hopkins University •• ••••• • DEVELOPMENT OF A MOBILE TECHNOLOGY APPLICATION TO SUPPORT CLINICAL DECISION MAKING AND REFERRAL LINKAGES FOR THE SAUTI- TZ PROGRAM RELEASED 26 MARCH 2015 PROPOSALS DUE 15 APRIL 2015 The United States Agency for International Development (USAID)Sauti-TZ program led by Jhpiego-an affiliate of [ohns Hopkins University is seeking to contract the development of a mobile technology tablet application to provide clinical decision support and referral linkages for health services focused on HIV prevention, testing and enrollment into care, family planning, gender-based violence screening as well as other key services from the community to facility levels for a new project, Sauti-TZ. The programmatic and technical inputs for the service delivery protocol and algorithm will be provided by the Sauti-TZproject to the winning agency. The winning agency will: • Develop an Android-based software module, compatible with tablets and smart phones, which include electronic forms registration, checklists, screening protocols and educational prompts. Each module will assist a health worker to follow the protocols (service algorithm) appropriate for the Sauti-TZproject with a focus on ensuring delivery of critical health services to key populations. • Develop a web interface with dashboard and reporting module. • Test, finalize and maintain the smart phone and tablet based software system for health facilities. • Provide expert technical assistance to participating program staff in the implementation of the I application, including training, troubleshooting, installation, and documentation. . • Assist the team in deploying the program in the first few intervention sites. • Provide training manual and source code for the fully developed system to Jhpiego.
