Peak Performers Track Club- Coach Jason’s Work Out
As weird as this sounds, we are going to be at Central Middle School Track this week.
The track is clear so let’s start using it. If for some unforeseen reason the track is
occupied on any Tuesday night, our secondary location is the Park strip on the end
closest to the inlet. Our workout this week is 7 or 8 x 400 with 45 second rest in
between. We will talk about proper pacing and the purpose of intervals at practice. See

**SATURDAY, APRIL 11TH**
GROUP RUNS
Postmark – Anchorage
Meet at the Postmark parking lot (Postmark & Northern Lights) at 8:00 am. 7.2 miles out
and back on the road. Coffee afterwards at Rustic Goat. A group of walkers will be
starting at 7:30 am.
Happy Fun Group - Anchorage
The Happy Fun Group will meet each Saturday during April 2015 at 9:00 AM in the
parking lot at Bartlett High School located off Muldoon Road. Head north on Muldoon
Road, cross the Glenn Highway and turn right at the first traffic light you come to. As
you head toward the high school take the first left, which will lead to huge parking lot.
We will meet at the opposite end of the parking lot from the school. We go out for a halfhour then turn around and run/walk back. We usually go to breakfast afterward for
those interested. Since it would be a ways to drive for our usual breakfast spot we will
eat at Kava's 2, which is on Muldoon Road, approximately one block south of the Glenn
Highway. Head south on Muldoon Road as you come out of Bartlett High School and
turn right at the first traffic light after the Glenn Highway then take a quick left into the
Kava's 2 parking lot. Happy Fun Group is a diverse group so you usually can find
someone that runs or walks at the same pace you do. If you have any questions email

Weekly PUB RUN – Anchorage
Location: Skinny Raven - 800 H Street. This event is every Tuesday. Free
registration for new participants starts at 5:15 pm. Walkers start at 5:30 pm and
runners start at 6:00 pm. Many prizes to give away with a different vendor every
week – another way to kick the mid-work week blues!

Run or Walk with Friends” – Anchorage
Meet 6pm – Westchester Lagoon – Meet Wednesdays throughout the year. Walk
or run with friends for 1 hour on the Coastal Trail.
