We Now Offer Nutritional Coaching! Our own Sarah Johnson holds her degree in Food Science & Nutrition
with a focus on wellness and sports nutrition. Her fun fact: Less than 1% of diets are successful in sustaining
the weight loss for more than two years. Get one on one nutritional advice specific to your goals, a diet
analysis to see where nutrients are in excess or lacking, and evaluate any problems to help you find a nutrition

Making the Most of your Swimming – Workout Clinic On Tuesday, May 5th all Oahu Club members are
welcome to participate in the popular “Make the Most of Your Swimming Workout” Clinic from 6:30-7:30PM.
Please join us if you would like to learn several new efficient swimming drills.
New Ocean Swim - South Shore Classic - May 16th Coach John Flanagan has developed this ocean swim with
an exciting new format. Entry forms are available from your coach and are at the pool! The South Shore
Classic taking place in Waikiki. For more information go to southshoreclassic.com - this will lead you to

Sprints & Swimmers Social Friday May, 29th 6:30-7:30pm. Oahu Club swimmers are scheduled for a sprint
workout session showcasing their sprinting and pacing skills in preparation for the May triathlons and summer
ocean swims. All Oahu Club Masters swimmers are invited to a regular workout night with extra sprinting.
Planning your Party Just Got Easier! When you plan your party with the Oahu Club you now receive vendor
discounts of 10% from Hawaiian Balloon Company and Alaka’i Party Rentals. Weekend dates for Grad parties

Family Movie Night is set for Friday, May 29th at 6:00pm. Join us on the fitness floor for free popcorn, juice
and a movie (TBA). Email us if you have a move suggestion! [email protected] This event is free for
members and guest fees apply.
Meter pool deck restoration is underway! Please be extra aware of the signs and barricades that will be up
for your safety during this time. Help us keep this project on schedule by avoiding the working area, and not
splashing onto the paint and treated surfaces. And, make your children aware of the work – especially if they
are small and can’t read.
Walk in Tennis Clinics Available for Ranked Players - The classes focus on stroke production and point play.
Cost is $12.00 pp plus tax. Walk in schedule: (3.0+)Wednesdays 8:30 - 9:30am, Thursdays (4.0+)8:30 - 9:30am,
& Fridays (3.0+)10:30 - 11:30am. Payment taken in Pro-shop before each clinic.
USTA Adult league begins Saturday, May 9th - We will be reserving courts #3 - #6 for match play. Courts #1 #2 are for non-league Oahu Club tennis members to reserve. Please refrain from booking those 2 courts for
warm up if you are playing your match at the club on that day.
USTA Mixed 40+ League Team Registration 4/27 - 5/22. Player registration 4/27 - 6/27. If you are looking for

Orange Ball Play Day! Sunday May 24th 1:30-3pm - All juniors using the orange ball are encouraged to register
for this fun event. The juniors will participate in valuable match play in a team format. Entry fee is $10 per
person. You can register at the pro shop. Deadline will be Friday, May 22.
O.C. Junior Circuit Sunday, May 31st, 11:00am - 3:00pm All junior team tennis players are encouraged to play
in our monthly O.C. junior circuit. Gain valuable match time and experience in a tournament setting. Entry fee
is $15.00. Deadline is Friday, May 29th.
Summer Morning Tennis Camps (ages 7 – 12) The camps will run 8:30am - 12:00pm. Registration is now open
at the pro shop. Four weekly sessions: June 1 – 5, June 8 – 12, July 27 – 31 & August 3 – 7.
Reminder: Due to the neighborhood construction, be extra cautious when exiting the club. The large trucks
parked on the street limit sight and sound from approaching cars. And under no circumstance should anyone
enter through our exit. Also, remember to keep the keiki safe by driving under 10 MPH in the lot, and do not
park in the stalls that face Kuapa Pre-school (Mon-Fri). Those stalls help keep little ones and strollers out of
the parking lot and into the school fast and easy.
Have Fun Shaping up with Small Group Training (SGT) - Work-out with friends, and make new ones. Train
with one of our certified professionals for a fraction of the cost when you join small group training. See Proshop for details. Dates, times, and fees are set by the trainer. Leave your contact info in the pro-shop, or

Traditional Sun Tai Chi with Clint - Considered the fighting form, Sun Tai Chi is more athletic yet able for
beginners to accomplish and advanced to master. Fee: 10 Consecutive Sessions $175.00 Tuesday/Thursday at
noon on the fitness floor (private sessions also available). Questions? [email protected]
Or, Try a Drop-in Class! OC Extreme - Intense endurance and strength training that improves your agility,
power, and overall fitness. Classes begin on the fitness floor and may travel to various parts of the club. Get
into the best shape of your life. Bring a towel and water bottle! Jordan is a certified personal trainer who also
holds multiple group fitness format certifications. Drop-in fee is $10 per class on Monday, Wednesday, and
Saturday at 7:15am.
