Known issues in this release
•
•
•
•
•
•
•
•
The numbering for ACC Gateway live export file names will restart from “1” if a connection
is lost and later restored for a camera connected to an ACC Server
If an alarm is configured to open a saved view and is raised at the same time as a PTZ
camera is being controlled, the mouse movement remains captured by the saved panel.
The Windows Ctrl-Alt-Del key combination can be used to escape the mouse capture
The ACC Client can crash if it is configured to restore a saved view that contains a
webpage with a script error
Zooming in or out on an ACTi PTZ can cause the camera to pan up
Using the ACC Web Client to pan a SNP-3301 PTZ camera to a location causes it to
continue panning. This is not an issue for the full ACC client
Merging two ACC servers fails if they have been installed on machines that each use
different Windows language settings
The following Rialto settings can be modified using ACC: digital input/output, audio
input/output, self-learning, camera location, camera type, noise filter, and network settings.
Furthermore, ACC will automatically act as the NTP server for Rialto devices. Modification
of any of these settings using Avigilon View while Rialto is connected to ACC may result in
device errors. To avoid these errors, the workaround and permanent solution is to only use
ACC to configure these settings, and not Avigilon View.
If multiple cameras in the same view panel have speakers enabled, the microphone output
may fail to work for all but one of the cameras. The microphone output will work if the view
is closed and the individual cameras are dragged to a new view panel

that use different Windows OS language settings (e.g. English and Spanish)
When an Axis camera is using a 4:3 aspect ratio, the highlighted motion detection in ACC is
incorrect

playback, pressing pause and then play again is required.
It is not possible to enable the login timeout for an Active Directory user
Changing the perspective setting for an Immervision camera while live streaming can
cause the video stream to fail and the ACC Client to hang

Corrected an issue preventing analytics exclusion areas from being overlapped
Ensured that Teach By Example functions correctly for an Avigilon™ cameras with adaptive
video analytics rotated by 90 or 270 degrees

Known issues in this release
•
•
•
•
•
Connecting an IP Rialto analytics appliance incorrectly results in a license error when the
ACC server has no available licenses, and connecting a camera to a server that only has
one remaining available channel license results in the disconnection of IP Rialto analytics
appliances connected to that server.
Pixel search will incorrectly return extra results that correspond to motion events from
unclassified objects, when used with Avigilon™ cameras with adaptive video analytics or
Avigilon™ Rialto analytics appliances.
Leaving the Teach by Example panel open for an hour or more with no activity from the
user causes subsequent attempts to add or modify the teach markers to fail.
Associating an RTSP stream to the Rialto in ACC appears to work but does not complete
the operation properly. The workaround is to use View to enter the proper RTSP link in the
Rialto.
When multiple map editing tabs are open, only the first “save” operation from one of these
windows is properly executed. The workaround is to edit a map in only one tab at a time.

Analytics does not currently support image rotation for Avigilon™ cameras with adaptive
video analytics. This will be fixed in a future firmware release for these new cameras. For
Rialto, the image received by the appliance must be already rotated.
Customers with a Rialto device upgrading from ACC 5.2.2 must re-connect their Rialto
device and re-configure analytics events and rules to ensure proper functionality.
By design, new analytic privileges are disabled by default for all users except the default
administrator account and group. Customers should explicitly enable the new permissions
where appropriate.
Connecting an analytics device simultaneously to both ACC 5.2 and ACC 5.4 causes it to
reset continuously, and is not supported.
