The login dialog continues to be displayed if auto-login is disabled Corrected an issue that caused the camera type in the Find Camera dialog to default back to “Avigilon” if the search failed Fixed an issue that would prevent a user from logging in if they were a member of an active directory group that included a space in the group name © 2015 Avigilon Corporation. All rights reserved. No license is granted with respect to any copyright, trademark, patent or other intellectual property rights of Avigilon Corporation or its affiliates. Avigilon™ Control Center 5.4 Release Notes 5.4.2.8 (Continued) Version Issues Fixed (Continued) • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • Corrected an issue where the title and the name in the Digital Inputs and Outputs dialog for Rialto analytic appliances weren’t consistent with each other Addressed an issue where the most recent alarm would not be shown on an armed panel if it was of equal priority to one already being displayed. Note that channel 1 should not be disabled when using Rialto with ACC Ensured that only the latest trigger time is shown for an alarm when it was acknowledged or purged and becomes active again Fixed an issue that could cause the playback to become stuck for some image panels in a view if the playback time was changed while the streams were being played Ensured that the login timeout could be enabled for active directory users Corrected an issue where the “Number of Objects” field would be incorrectly displayed as “0” instead of “1” for some analytic activity types in the Analytic Event Configuration dialog Fixed an issue where the ACC server could crash if it was being merged into a site where another server had the same port setting for a POS transaction source Ensured that the correct defaults were restored when “Restore Defaults” option was selected in the Compression and Image Rate dialog Ensured that a user would receive the prompt to upgrade to a newer version of the ACC Client when logged into a manually discovered server © 2015 Avigilon Corporation. All rights reserved. No license is granted with respect to any copyright, trademark, patent or other intellectual property rights of Avigilon Corporation or its affiliates. Avigilon™ Control Center 5.4 Release Notes 5.4.2.8 (Continued) Version Known issues in this release • • • • • • • • The numbering for ACC Gateway live export file names will restart from “1” if a connection is lost and later restored for a camera connected to an ACC Server If an alarm is configured to open a saved view and is raised at the same time as a PTZ camera is being controlled, the mouse movement remains captured by the saved panel. The Windows Ctrl-Alt-Del key combination can be used to escape the mouse capture The ACC Client can crash if it is configured to restore a saved view that contains a webpage with a script error Zooming in or out on an ACTi PTZ can cause the camera to pan up Using the ACC Web Client to pan a SNP-3301 PTZ camera to a location causes it to continue panning. This is not an issue for the full ACC client Merging two ACC servers fails if they have been installed on machines that each use different Windows language settings The following Rialto settings can be modified using ACC: digital input/output, audio input/output, self-learning, camera location, camera type, noise filter, and network settings. Furthermore, ACC will automatically act as the NTP server for Rialto devices. Modification of any of these settings using Avigilon View while Rialto is connected to ACC may result in device errors. To avoid these errors, the workaround and permanent solution is to only use ACC to configure these settings, and not Avigilon View. If multiple cameras in the same view panel have speakers enabled, the microphone output may fail to work for all but one of the cameras. The microphone output will work if the view is closed and the individual cameras are dragged to a new view panel Avigilon™ Camera FW Included • • • • • • • • • • V3.4.0.20 for HD H.264 H3 cameras with adaptive video analytics V3.0.0.40 for HD Pro H.264 cameras V2.6.0.72 for HD Micro Dome cameras V2.6.0.54 for HD PTZ cameras V2.6.0.56 for HD Bullet cameras V2.6.0.56 for HD H.264 H3 cameras V2.2.0.36 for H.264 encoders V.2.2.0.34 for HD H.264 cameras V4.4.0.2 for JPEG2000 Panoramic cameras V4.6.0.14 for JPEG2000 HD Pro cameras © 2015 Avigilon Corporation. Users experiencing issues listed in the “Issues Fixed” list should consider upgrading to this release. Users of earlier versions of ACC 5 can refer to earlier release notes below for further information on new features and issues resolved. Issues Fixed • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • Corrected an issue that caused an alarm sound to play at the same time for all recipients even if the users had different time delays configured Fixed an issue where the system explorer in the Site Setup tab was missing some results after a search filter was applied Fixed an issue preventing a Pelco IBP219 camera from being connected to an ACC server using its native driver Ensured that the Avigilon™ Rialto analytics appliances used the correct number of channel licenses Added the ability to associate a generic RTSP streams with Avigilon™ Rialto analytics appliances Ensured that analytics is paused when a PTZ camera connected to an Avigilon™ Rialto analytics appliance is away from its home position Corrected an issue where the list of POS Transaction Sources could appear empty even if there was a source configured Ensured that the Server Status tab correctly shows the camera compression information for newly logged in sites Fixed an issue where an alarm or rule could have its schedule incorrectly modified to ‘Always’ after adding the server to another site Corrected some readability issues with the UI for the Russian version of the ACC Admin Tool Corrected an issue that prevented all of the cameras connected to an analog Avigilon™ Rialto analytics appliance from showing up in the LPR setup Fixed an issue in the ACC Player that could cause inconsistent results for Pixel Search depending on the order of the cameras searched Corrected an issue that prevented multiple saved views from being opened and ensured that a currently open saved view can be refreshed by reopening it Added the ability to see whether an Analytic Event Configuration was enabled or not through the details panel Ensured that the a user is not able to incorrectly view all site setup settings during a site upgrade scenario Fixed an issue that prevented an exclusion area from being created for an Analytic Event Configuration when the inclusion area was smaller than the default exclusion area size © 2015 Avigilon Corporation. Avigilon™ Control Center 5.4 Release Notes 5.4.0.32 (Continued) Version Issues Fixed (Continued) • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • Corrected an issue that sometimes prevented a selected Avigilon™ Rialto analytics appliance channel from being highlighted in the user interface Improved the usability of editing a beam for an Analytic Event Configuration Ensured that the “OK” button was not incorrectly disabled when creating a new Analytic Event Configuration Corrected a readability issue with some of the Client Settings text in the German version of the ACC Client Ensured that when applying the camera settings, for cameras connected to an encoder or an Avigilon™ Rialto analytics appliance, at least one camera is required to be selected Ensured that only one client is able to access a server’s Recording Schedule or POS Transactions setup at a time Improved the usability of editing an analytics inclusion area Ensured that analytics self-learning for an Avigilon™ Rialto analytics appliance is not affected by selecting another analytics device within the Analytic Event Configuration setup Fixed an issue where the seconds value for a timeout when creating an Analytic Event Configuration would incorrectly increase from 0 to 1 Ensured that the settings configured through the advanced options for an Analytic Event Configuration were consistent between the dialog and its event summary Corrected an issue where Pixel Search for cameras connected to an Avigilon™ Rialto analytics appliance could incorrectly return results that don’t correspond to a classified object Fixed an issue where the threshold time would incorrectly reset to its default value when an Analytic Event Configuration was edited Ensured that the video analytic activity overlay is enabled by default for the ACC Client, and always enabled for the Virtual Matrix Application, when an earlier version of ACC is upgraded to version 5.4 Corrected an issue that could cause a previously created advanced Analytic Event Configuration to show the dialog used for basic configurations when edited Fixed an issue that could prevent the classification of new teach markers if the Teach By Example panel was left open without interaction from the user for more than an hour Added an “Apply” button to the Video Analytics Configuration setup to improve consistency with other dialogs in ACC Improved the reboot handling for Avigilon™ Rialto R-Series analytics appliances, by ensuring that only individual blades were rebooted rather than all blades in the chassis © 2015 Avigilon Corporation. All rights reserved. No license is granted with respect to any copyright, trademark, patent or other intellectual property rights of Avigilon Corporation or its affiliates. Avigilon™ Control Center 5.4 Release Notes 5.4.0.32 (Continued) Version Known issues in this release • • • • • • Clustering two servers into a single site fails when the servers were installed on machines that use different Windows OS language settings (e.g. English and Spanish) When an Axis camera is using a 4:3 aspect ratio, the highlighted motion detection in ACC is incorrect Changing the playback time while recorded video is being played can cause the video to get stuck when recordings from multiple cameras are being viewed. In order to resume the playback, pressing pause and then play again is required. It is not possible to enable the login timeout for an Active Directory user Changing the perspective setting for an Immervision camera while live streaming can cause the video stream to fail and the ACC Client to hang Disabling channels for IP Avigilon™ Rialto analytics appliances using Avigilon™ View software may cause issues for the display of those channels in ACC. All channels should be left enabled to prevent this issue. Avigilon™ Camera FW Included • • • • • • • • • V3.4.0.20 for HD H.264 H3 cameras with adaptive video analytics V3.0.0.36 for HD Pro H.264 cameras V2.6.0.54 for HD PTZ cameras V2.6.0.56 for HD Bullet cameras V2.6.0.56 for HD H.264 H3 cameras V2.2.0.36 for H.264 encoders V.2.2.0.34 for HD H.264 cameras V4.4.0.2 for JPEG2000 Panoramic cameras V4.6.0.14 for JPEG2000 HD Pro cameras © 2015 Avigilon Corporation. Avigilon™ Control Center 5.4 Release Notes 5.4.0.30 – Released Tuesday November 4th, 2014 Version Release Summary This is the first scheduled service release for Avigilon™ Control Center 5.4. Users experiencing issues listed in the “Issues Fixed” list should consider upgrading to this release. This release also adds enhancements related to the configuration of adaptive video analytics, so users who have Avigilon™ analytics enabled devices will also benefit by upgrading to this release. Users of earlier versions of ACC 5 can refer to the subsequent release notes, for earlier releases of ACC 5.4, for further information on new features and issues resolved. New Features • • Advanced analytics event configurations, offering the ability to configure nine advancedmode event triggers for Avigilon™ cameras with adaptive video analytics and Avigilon™ Rialto analytics appliances The ability to enable, disable, and reset self-learning on Avigilon™ cameras with adaptive video analytics and Avigilon™ Rialto analytics appliances, and the addition of a progress indicator to show current self-learning status Issues Fixed • • • • • • • • • • • • • • Ensured that the recording timeline cache is properly rebuilt on system restart so that the recording timeline is visible in the ACC client Corrected an error preventing ACC from configuring a gateway IP address on a camera Corrected an issue where the ACC client could remove manually added sites Ensured that the “Copy to Clipboard” button is present when many licenses are being deactivated Fixed the PTZ preset keyboard combination shortcut for Pelco IP PTZ cameras Fixed an issue where the client could crash when searching the site logs Ensured that ACC uses the correct RTSP port when streaming from ONVIF devices Ensured that a child site correctly leaves the site family when merging into the parent site Added counters to help keep track of the number of true and false entries in the Teach By Example teach marker list Corrected an issue where a disconnected and subsequently reconnected camera would ignore the user’s selection for a location and revert to its previous location in the site Prevented the last server in a parent site from leaving the site, when it has a child site connected Improved the usability of modifying the Region of Interest when setting up an analytics event configuration Improved the error message shown when importing settings from a file fails due to conflicts for remote users and groups Fixed a client crash that could occur when scrubbing video for an extended period of time © 2015 Avigilon Corporation. All rights reserved. No license is granted with respect to any copyright, trademark, patent or other intellectual property rights of Avigilon Corporation or its affiliates. Avigilon™ Control Center 5.4 Release Notes 5.4.0.30 (Continued) Version Issues Fixed (Continued) • • • • Corrected an issue preventing analytics exclusion areas from being overlapped Ensured that Teach By Example functions correctly for an Avigilon™ cameras with adaptive video analytics rotated by 90 or 270 degrees Fixed an issue where the ACC Admin Panel could crash after opening the help file a second time Removed an incorrect dependency on a user being required to have the “setup name” server group privilege in order to configure the recording and bandwidth on the server Known issues in this release • • • • • Connecting an IP Rialto analytics appliance incorrectly results in a license error when the ACC server has no available licenses, and connecting a camera to a server that only has one remaining available channel license results in the disconnection of IP Rialto analytics appliances connected to that server. Pixel search will incorrectly return extra results that correspond to motion events from unclassified objects, when used with Avigilon™ cameras with adaptive video analytics or Avigilon™ Rialto analytics appliances. Leaving the Teach by Example panel open for an hour or more with no activity from the user causes subsequent attempts to add or modify the teach markers to fail. Associating an RTSP stream to the Rialto in ACC appears to work but does not complete the operation properly. The workaround is to use View to enter the proper RTSP link in the Rialto. When multiple map editing tabs are open, only the first “save” operation from one of these windows is properly executed. The workaround is to edit a map in only one tab at a time. This will be fixed in a future firmware release for these new cameras. For Rialto, the image received by the appliance must be already rotated. Customers with a Rialto device upgrading from ACC 5.2.2 must re-connect their Rialto device and re-configure analytics events and rules to ensure proper functionality. By design, new analytic privileges are disabled by default for all users except the default administrator account and group. Customers should explicitly enable the new permissions where appropriate. Connecting an analytics device simultaneously to both ACC 5.2 and ACC 5.4 causes it to reset continuously, and is not supported. © 2015 Avigilon Corporation. All rights reserved.
