Hyde Park Blvd. Charges: One felony count of Attempt Murder – First Degree One felony count of Aggravated Battery/Use Deadly Weapon Issuance of Warrant Bond: Central Bond Court, 2600 S. California – April 12, 2015 Narrative: Ross Jacobs was arrested and charged after he was identified as the offender who stabbed his roommate multiple times in their apartment on March 13, 2015, at approximately 3:00 am on the 5400 block of South Hyde Park Blvd. The 27-year-old victim was in his bedroom sleeping when the offender entered his room and attacked him with a butcher knife then fled the scene. The victim was transported to Northwestern Hospital where he was treated and released for his injuries. The investigation led Chicago Police to Dallas, Texas, where Jacobs was subsequently located and taken into custody. Jacobs was extradited to Chicago and on April 11, 2015, Jacobs was charged with the above offenses.
