Hyde Park Man Charged in Stabbing of Roommate

Narrative:
Ross Jacobs was arrested and charged after he was identified as the
offender who stabbed his roommate multiple times in their apartment on
March 13, 2015, at approximately 3:00 am on the 5400 block of South Hyde
Park Blvd. The 27-year-old victim was in his bedroom sleeping when the
offender entered his room and attacked him with a butcher knife then fled the
scene. The victim was transported to Northwestern Hospital where he was
treated and released for his injuries. The investigation led Chicago Police to
Dallas, Texas, where Jacobs was subsequently located and taken into
custody. Jacobs was extradited to Chicago and on April 11, 2015, Jacobs
was charged with the above offenses. There is no further information.
