Lincoln Shooting Stars 4-H Club May 30th 2015 Skeet and
Sporting Clays Shotgun Shoot
Location: Lincoln Trap and Skeet Club, one block North of 48th and Superior on 48th street Lincoln, Nebraska.
Registration begins at 08:00 am at the club house. Registration fee is $5.00 per participant. This is payable to
the Lincoln Shooting Stars 4-H Club on the day of the shoot. On line registration is available at:

Safety brief and orientation is at 08:45 am.
SAFETY FIRST! Shooters will be asked to leave the range for any misconduct. This can be personal or
with a firearm.
Safety Rated Eye and ear protection are mandatory. Sunglasses and ear buds are not replacements for
true ear and ear protection.
Shooting begins at 09:00 am with a shotgun start.
Course of fire will be 2 rounds (50 targets) of Skeet and 1 round (50 targets) of Sporting Clays.
Target fees are $25.00 total. This includes 2 rounds (25 targets per round) of Skeet and 50 targets of Sporting
Clays. Target fees are payable to Lincoln Trap and Skeet on the day of the shoot. Lincoln Trap and Skeet Club
will accept cash, check and credit card. *Small fee assessed to credit/debit card payment.
Ties for Skeet will be broken with a 10 round shoot-off. Defined as - doubles only from post 2, singles from
posts 3, 4 and 5 and doubles only from post 6. If a second round is required, first miss out of 10 targets is out.
Ties for Sporting Clays will be broken by shooting from 5 randomly chosen stands. If a second round is
required, first miss is out.
Ties for High Overall will be resolved by 10 round shoot off of Wobble Trap from the 22 yard line.
**Shooters in shoot offs will be given 15 minutes from first call to report to the club house. If a single shooter
appears, that shooter will be awarded the tie-breaker.
If you wish to shoot as a group, please have one person pay for your group when paying range fees.
Coaches/parents are encouraged to assist novice shooters on the line as long as coaching is kept to a minimum and
does not interfere with other shooters or shoot progression.
Qualifications to Participate
Juniors - Shooters in the Junior Division must be 10 to 13 years old before January 1 of current year.
Seniors - Shooters in the Senior Division must be 14 to 18 years old before January 1 of the current year.
Competitors must be enrolled in the Shotgun project under a certified 4-H Shotgun instructor to participate.

*All awards are for individuals only. There will be no team awards.
Concessions provided by Lincoln Trap and Skeet Club
Please help the club by picking up spent casings at the end of each Skeet round and at the
end of each Sporting Clays station
