Submit yourselves therefore to God. James 4:7
ABUNDANT LIFE CHRIST
CENTERED MINISTRIES
Submission belongs to the will; and true submission consists in the will's being
entirely subdued and under the control of God's will. It is that attitude of will, or
that voluntary state of the will that God requires. This includes a joyful acquiescence [acceptance] in all the wisdom of God. Having no other intention than
to do the whole will of God, he is perfectly and supremely satisfied with whatever the providence of God may be.
He has no interest of his own to promote, no ends of his own to accomplish--no
ways, or schemes, or wishes, but such as he believes to be in accordance with the
will of God. He in an attitude as yielding as air, to be led in a state of supreme
sweetness and complacency, in any direction in which the will of God, by his
Spirit and word, shall lead him. Equally well pleased, to be sick or well--to be
rich or poor--to live or die--to enjoy his friends or part with them--to be employed in any way, in any place, at any time, wherever the providence of God
shall lead him.
Write It In Your Heart…
In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ

Men’s Health Month
Spirituality and Health – Why the Connection Exists
“We are marvelously designed by God. He made us in a way that all our body systems work
together in unimaginable and intricate ways. Our soul, spirit, mind and body are all connected
and work together perfectly according to His design. Because we are designed by God, when
we live according to His principles as outlined in the Bible, our life will be more full and we
are more likely to experience a life of peace, joy, and hope. This will create an environment
that favors good health. “ Dale Fletcher, Founder – Faith and Health Connection.
The purpose of Men’s Health Month is to heighten the awareness of preventable health problems and encourage early detection among men and boys. This month, let’s encourage our
men and boys to seek regular medical advice and early treatment for disease and injury. Practicing and maintaining healthier lifestyles by eating smaller portions, increasing fruits and
vegetables, limiting fried foods, and exercising (basketball, running, weight lifting, etc.) It is
so important to support our men and boys in regards to their health even if we have to schedule
appointments for them. Cholesterol screenings, blood pressure checks, diabetes evaluation (if
there is a family history of diabetes), prostate screenings, should be completed as instructed by
your family physician. If you are without insurance, please follow up with Montgomery
County Job and Family Services for information on applying for Medicaid (937) 225-4148.
Also, on June 13, 2015, The African-American Wellness Walk will be held at RiverScape
Metro Park. Free health screenings are usually offered during this event. You can register on
line @www.aawwdayton.org
So let us get hyped about moving and making steps towards a healthier you.

OUR VISION
ACCOMPLISHING THE VISION
We will STAND wholeheartedly on the DECISIONS of God; accepting His word as absolute truth. In so
doing, we will embody and become the righteousness of God by living in a place where we can hear, believe, and see the voice of God which will allow us to make a difference in the church, our community, our
neighborhoods, and the world.
We will ACHIEVE this through continual prayer and study of God’s word.
We will LIVE, WALK, TALK, AND DEMONSTRATE the embodiment of God’s love; transforming us into
the Kingdom of God.
As a ministry, we will SUBMIT and commit to righteousness, holiness, and sanctification unto our God.
We will be COMMITTED to making a difference in the church, our community, our neighborhoods, and the
world.
As God has placed order and structure in the earth, we will ADHERE to the order, structure and rules of
the house.
We will STAND wholeheartedly on the decisions of God; accepting His word as absolute truth.
