D 120 Estonia LC Tallinn Hansa LC Tallinn Hansa Artist Adamson-Eric Scholarship LC Tallinn Hansa Scholarship Statute 1. In 2011, the LC Tallinn Hansa founded a young artist’s scholarship to support the fine arts and design, with the objective of directing attention to the work of the outstanding artist Adamson-Eric as a painter and applied artist, to value diversity and individuality in Estonian art, and to help with research on the artist’s legacy. 2. All Estonian art students with master’s or doctoral degrees in fine arts from Estonian or foreign schools of higher education may apply for the scholarship. 3. The scholarship will be awarded annually on 18 August, the birthday of AdamsonEric. The exact time of the presentation will be announced by the scholarship committee on the websites of the Art Museum of Estonia, the Estonian section of the International Association of Lions Clubs, and the Adamson-Eric Museum, as well as in the cultural media. 4. The amount of the scholarship is € 2,500. 5. To apply for the scholarship, the following must be submitted to the scholarship committee: a) an application; b) a CV with personal and contact information; c) a portfolio; d) the purpose for which the scholarship will be used. 6. The scholarship committee is comprised of LC Tallinn Hansa management board members, the director of the Adamson-Eric Museum, a representative of the Art Museum of Estonia, a representative of the Estonian Academy of Arts, and a representative of the Estonian Artists’ Association. The committee’s functions include: MTÜ Lions Club Tallinn Hansa Reg nr 80329352 D 120 Estonia LC Tallinn Hansa a) reviewing the scholarship applications; b) reviewing the works submitted by the applicants and certifying the conformity or non-conformity with the requirements; c) choosing the scholarship recipient. 7. In case works are judged to be of equal value, the scholarship committee reserves the right to divide the scholarship, not to award the scholarship or to acknowledge only one applicant. 8. In order to apply for the scholarship, the documents and materials specified in this statute must be submitted between 25 and 27 April to the Adamson-Eric Museum (10130 Tallinn, Lühike Jalg 3, e-mail: [email protected]). The submitted materials may be on paper, electronic or material in nature. 9. The scholarship recipient and LC Tallinn Hansa will conclude an agreement that prescribes the deadline and procedure for paying out the scholarship. 10. LC Tallinn Hansa will announce the winner of the scholarship on the websites of the Art Museum of Estonia, the Estonian section of the International Association of Lions Clubs, and the Adamson-Eric Museum, as well as in the cultural media.
