An Eastern Shore Experience
Plan to join us for a two day/one night journey to Maryland’s Eastern
Shore, where we will enjoy a unique “Osher at JHU” experience with
behind-the-scenes insight simply not available on regular visits. Even if
you know St. Michaels and the Chesapeake Bay Museum, this
program promises new experiences for all.
EDUCATIONAL HIGHLIGHTS

• Tours, lectures, and hands on illustrations about the
bay as a natural resource, ecological laboratory, and
historical habitat.
• Learn how the bounty of oysters and crabs affected
the lives of people, their culture, and Maryland’s
history.
• Visit the on-site boat building shop for an
extraordinary demonstration of the “scale-up”

people have lived and worked on the Chesapeake.
Enjoy a Seafood luncheon on the dock of
the famous CRAB CLAW RESTAURANT
Dinner at the River House at Easton Club
on the Tred-Avon River
Saturday morning includes a full breakfast
buffet with hot, cold and healthy choices

TRIP PACKAGE INCLUDES:
Comfortable coach transit and driver tip;
all entrance and site fees; Patriot Cruise,
overnight stay, meals including 2 preselected, table service meals, the hotel
breakfast, and all gratuities.
Bus will depart Friday from the JHU Montgomery County Campus at 8:00 a.m. Return time to the
campus will be Saturday, approximately 5:00 p.m.
Cautions and activity levels: Trip includes bus stops, standing and walking distances on somewhat
uneven ground. No walkers or wheelchairs can be accommodated on the bus or at the sites.
