German Spree Tour sponsored by the Ontario Adventure Rowing

German Spree Tour sponsored by the Ontario Adventure Rowing Association
October 4 to 10, 2015
Description
The German Spree rowing tour will be Monday to Friday: arrival date is Sunday, October 4 and the departure date is Saturday, October 10. There
will be 4 ½ days of rowing with each full day being 34 to 40 km. The route starts near Lübben, south of Berlin, and traverses forest country along
rivers and small lakes, goes through the centre of Berlin where Cold War remains can be seen, and finishes on scenic lakes near Potsdam. There
will be some locks. Boats used will be coxed quads.
Cost and Inclusions
The total cost for 25 participants will be $CDN 1354 each with a 1/3 deposit of $447 required by April 30 (accepted are credit cards and Paypal (via
website: Rowing-in-Europe); see Terms and Conditions). The total cost includes accommodation in double rooms, 2 nights in a hostel and 4 nights
in an IBIS Style Hotel with breakfast; 6 lunches or picnics (no alcoholic beverages); and transfers with a tram/bus/coach. In case there are fewer
than 25 guests, there will be an incremental cost increase.
The nearest airport is Berlin Tegel which is only 20 km from the last hotel, so it will be possible to fly back to Canada on Saturday, October 10 to be
home for Canadian Thanksgiving.
Airfare, transfers to and from Berlin Tegel Airport, dinners, incidentals, single supplements, and extended stay costs are not included.
