Walking tour of Speicherstadt and City with the private guide Mr. Jörn
Löding
Discover fascinating facts about the two most impressive quarters of Hamburg, both
situated on the banks of the river Elbe. See the red brick architecture of what was
once the world’s biggest warehouse complex and explore the brand-new HafenCity
district in front of the old storehouses. HafenCity is one of Europe’s biggest
regeneration projects with its striking construction project of the Elbe Philharmonic
Hall. In case of bad weather, the walking tour will be substituted with the guided visit
at one of the following museums: International Maritim Museum, Speicherstadt
Museum or Museum of Spices.

all-time favourites list. All the following options can be booked

Hamburg is a perfect location for shopping. Here you can
find everything, from high-end designer labels to
alternative chic. Our top-three list includes:
- Neuer Wall - is the ultimate glamour location in the heart
of Hamburg’s city centre. Here you will find haute couture
straight from the Parisian and Milanese catwalks, as well
as more affordable high-street brands. Besides, walking
down this street will take you straight to the Hamburg

- Karolinen Quarter - if you want to experience the
alternative side of our city, make sure to visit Marktstraße
in the heart of Karolinen quarter. Here at small shops you

hype vintage stores. Make a stop to rest your feet at one
of the many cafés of the neighbourhood. Here St. Pauli
spirit and creativity truly thrive! Besides, it is just one metro
station away from the Hotel Marriott Hamburg (single

AGM Dinner
On Monday evening, April 27, we are inviting
you to join us on a “static” nautical journey
upon the Hamburg’s famous lake - the Alster.
This wonderful body of water is the true heart
of our Hafen City. Our location - LOKALGold,
is not exactly a boat, so nobody is going to get
wet.
Meet the colleagues from all over the world in
this wonderful pontoon-based cafe, watch your
first sunset over the Alster and enjoy the
breath-taking views of Hamburg as lights of
the city awake at night!

We shall be taking off on foot from the Hotel
Marriott Hamburg at 7:45 pm. You are also
welcome to join us later. The duration of the
welcome reception is 3 h.
On Tuesday, April 28, we shall take you to one
of the most spectacular locations in Hamburg,
Suellberg Hotel in Hamburg Blankenese. This
historic hotel, situated a 30-minute drive from
the Marriott Hotel, offers a picturesque view of
Hamburg’s main artery - the river Elbe.
During the reception you can enjoy the views
from the hotel’s terrace and may be even get
a peek of Queen Mary II sailing towards the
port. After a 4-course dinner, those of you who
still have energy to party will be invited to a
local bar near the event hotel.
