Time limit: 3 hours
The race is run under the rules of ASA and AGN.
All runners participate at their own risk and indemnify the organisers, sponsors and
national and provincial bodies against any claims that might arise.
All runners must run with a valid licence worn on the front and back of the vest.
Temporary licence numbers are available for unlicensed participants at an additional
R30,00.
Official age category tags must be worn on the back and front of the vests by athletes
competing for category prizes.
Acceptable proof of age and ID must be presented upon request.
No seconding is allowed during the race.
Security controlled parking is provided.
A tog bag area will be provided.
Obey all marshals, race officials and traffic officers at all times.
Water points will be spaced every 3 km.
No iPods or listening devices are allowed.
The minimum age for the 10 km race is 15 years and the minimum age for the 21 km
race is 16 years.
FOREIGN ATHLETES must also adhere to IAAF rule 4, paragraph 2.
Race organisers, sponsors and venue managers will not be responsible for any theft or
damage of personal items, nor injuries or death sustained during the race (by entering
the race, participants indemnify these role players).
Medical assistance will be provided by the City of Tshwane.
No animals are allowed.
No blade or mechanically operated device is allowed in the race.
Walkers competing for prize money must wear WALKER/W tags on the front and back
of their vest.
The decision of the organisers and the race referees is final and no correspondence
will be entered into.
The prize giving is at 08:00 for the 10 km and at 09:00 for the 21 km.
The main entrance to the Eersterust Soccer Stadium will be closed at 05:40 and an
alternative entrance for parking must be used.
