HUMI-K®
Product Information
FOLI-GRO® HUMI-K® is formulated using the highest soluble
potassium source available and PURIC™ superior quality, low
sediment humic acid. FOLI-GRO HUMI-K may be applied as a
foliar spray, metered into irrigation systems or as a direct soil
application. FOLI-GRO HUMI-K is used to prevent or correct
potassium deficiencies in a wide range of agronomic and
ornamental plants. Its use is suggested as a supplement to a
regular, balanced fertilizer program to enhance yields and
improve quality.
Application of FOLI-GRO HUMI-K is a means of obtaining a quick
response to needed elements. Applications of FOLI-GRO HUMI-K
may be particularly beneficial during periods of peak nutrient
demand, for crops grown on soils having poor nutrient availability
or to crops suffering from a weakened root system.

Product Applications
FOLI-GRO HUMI-K may be applied as a foliar spray by air or by
ground. Maintain agitation to provide uniform distribution within
the spray tank. Thorough and even spray coverage is essential for
maximum nutrient uptake and crop safety.
Optimum rate of application will vary based on a variety of factors
including degree of need or deficiency, growth stage, yield
potential, environmental conditions, existing soil fertility levels,
etc.
FOLI-GRO HUMI-K can be applied to soil, in irrigation water
or as a foliar spray by air, ground concentrate or dilute on all
agricultural and horticultural crops, ornamental plants and sports
turf to enhance growth and quality and to correct potassium
deficiencies.
Always use no less than 10 gallons of water per acre when
applying FOLI-GRO HUMI-K as a foliar spray. FOLI-GRO
HUMI-K contains 2.99 pounds of potassium per gallon. Timing of
treatments should be based on crop nutrient demand, prevailing
environmental conditions, plant tissue analysis data or other
information that indicates a need for fast-acting supplemental
potassium.
Foliar Applications: Apply 1-4 quarts per acre as needed in a
minimum of 10 gallons of water; 1-2 gallons per acre may be
applied in a minimum of 50 gallons of water.
Soil or Irrigation Water Applications: Apply 5-15 gallons per
acre as needed. When applied through pressurized irrigation
systems, flush with clean irrigation water after completion of
fertilizer injection.
Use of high quality wetting agents, such as R-11®, at
recommended rates to improve spray coverage is usually advised.
