TSA Issues Guidance on IAC Certificate Renewal Good morning, Ron Varghese, Section Chief for the TSA Office of Security Operation Compliance has asked that we pass along this document reminding Airforwarders Association Indirect Air Carrier members that annual IAC renewal requests must be submitted no later than 30 days prior to the first anniversary month in which they expire. In order to avoid delays in the renewal process that could lead to possible expiration or denied renewal, TSA suggests Indirect Air Carriers apply for their renewal once they receive the initial renewal notification 90 days prior to the certification expiration. As a reminder, a significant revision to the IACSSP is coming soon and TSA air cargo leadership will attend a session discussing the changes at the AirCargo 2015 conference in New Orleans on March 2nd. Registration and more information about the conference can be found at www.aircargoconference.com. You can save now before early bird pricing ends tomorrow. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at AfA Headquarters. Brandon Fried Executive Director The Airforwarders Association National Press Building 529 14th Street, N.W.
