Shop Rite, Super Fresh, Acme, Super G ($50, $100 cards) Walgreens ($100 cards) Dear AKSE Members & Friends of AKSE, Adas Kodesch Shel Emeth has partnered with Community Recycling and its ShoeBox Recycling program. Together we are on a mission to help promote the importance of shoe recycling while raising funds for AKSE. ShoeBox Recycling is easy, engaging and rewarding for everyone involved. Participation is simple. We are collecting gently used (or no longer used) shoes for reuse. ShoeBox Recycling collection boxes have been placed in the lobby of AKSE. Simply “Bring your Shoes to Shul” and deposit them in the collection box. As each box is filled, it will be shipped out for distribution, and AKSE receives a small fee for its efforts. All the shoes we recycle as a group are destined for another home. From South America to Africa to areas right here in the United States, our ShoeBox Recycling efforts will help people and communities in over 50 countries. Our community will benefit as well. Not only will your recycled shoes help AKSE raise funds, it will also help keep these shoes out of our local landfills. So start cleaning out your closets and start looking under your bed for gently used shoes. Every pair you recycle means shoes for those in need, extra funds for us, and less landfill waste. If you are unable to drop your shoes off, have a large quantity of shoes for recycling, or need more information, please contact AKSE at (302) 762-2705 to make arrangements for someone to come by to pick up your donation. Follow These Easy Steps: Drop off your used shoes in the AKSE lobby or call (302) 762-2705 for convenient pick-up service We ship the shoes to Community Recycling for distribution to those in need. AKSE receives a small fee. You free up some closet space and contribute to less landfill waste. Ask your family, friends, neighbors and co-workers to participate. Feel good that you did a Mitzvah.
