Summer Camps are open to all children in grades
PK – 5!
Every week, campers will participate in fantastic
Adventure Camps in the morning, with a variety
of age-appropriate activities, experiments, and
fun-filled lessons based upon the week’s theme.
In the afternoons, children will experience an
extension of the week’s theme, taking field trips,
creating arts and crafts, playing games, and
more!
Each week, field trips include visits to the pool,
ice skating rink, or another activity intended to
allow campers to burn off some of their excess
summer energy in a safe, fun-filled environment.
All camps are taught by
Allen faculty and
experienced guest
instructors.

- Drama Camp
July 20 – 24
Come join us as we make delicious
connections between the world of cooking
and the world of print! Younger campers
will be pulling cooking concepts and recipes
from selected children’s books, such as
Chocolate Moose for Dinner paired with
making the title dessert from the book.
Older campers will explore more complex
literature and recipes, even trying their hand
at making noodles from scratch after reading
Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs! These
young chefs will be experts in reading
recipes by the end of the week!
Lights! Camera! Action! The stage will
come alive this week as campers work
together to create an original play based
on a classic folktale, adding music to
enhance the story. Campers will learn to
create costumes and props, and then act
it out in front of the camera. We will
also explore how to use a green screen
and props to create an “out of this world”
video! After taping final performances,
campers will celebrate the end of camp
