Anastasia Kubrak

Anastasia Kubrak (ænəsteʒə kubrak; born 10 January, 1993) is
a communication designer from Moscow, Russia. She is currently
studying at the Design Academy Eindhoven in Media & Culture
department.
In her work, she focuses on contemporary cultural
phenomenons, with an attempt to critically analyse them and
challenge what is usually taken for granted. Her interests revolve
around relationships between emerging technologies and
language of modern media.
Anastasia’s work aims to facilitate thought by proposing a
different perspective on existing systems. With her ideas she
attempts to engage people in unconventional interactions with
information, in both virtual and physical realm.
The translation of her research can take any form that
corresponds with its meaning, be that a book, a speculative
service or an algorithm. She applies a diverse palette of media in
order to communicate ideas clearly and with a bit of humour.
