It’s about smiles, love, life!
Annette
Cantrell
Martin,
Director and
Producer
As we rehearsed and now perform our
show IT’S ALL RELATIVE, we acknowledge
that God has blessed us immeasurably with
creativity, vision and energy. And, we are
blessed with enthusiasm for theater and for
life! As you look across the stage you will
see dozens of seniors who are living life to
its fullest!
Every cast member is a star – a star
shining brightly for all the world to see.
Our desire is that everyone sees not only
starlight, but also life and goodness! Those
smiles you see are genuine! Don’t underestimate the power of those smiles! They’re
contagious!
While our two-hour production of IT’S
ALL RELATIVE can’t highlight every family
member, we have taken our usual whimsical path to enjoy a few of them. We are
especially proud to salute our World War II
heroes and their families.
Anderson Senior Follies is a year-round
effort, and while we are finishing this year,
we are also writing next year’s show. Please
enjoy our Web site, andersonseniorfollies.

You have
the hottest
ticket
in town!
By ED GAULDEN
The expression “hottest ticket
in town” certainly applies to your
Senior Follies ticket as it is very
much in demand these days.
By Jan. 1 almost 50 percent
of our tickets
had been sold to
groups! And by
Feb. 1 nearly 90
percent of the
5,500 available
Box office
director Stacie
seats for the five
Turner
performances
had been sold!
That is the
definition of the hottest ticket in
town.
Stacie Turner runs the Anderson University Box Office, and
she works hard to get the seats
you request year after year. If you
want great seats, follow Stacie’s
advice and “Get your tickets
early.”
For future reference, the box office number is (864) 231-2080. It
is open Monday through Friday
from 9 a.m. to noon, and phone
lines are open all day every day
where you can leave a message.

home, Henderson Auditorium.
“In trying to improve Henderson Auditorium over the past
26 years, there has been about
$325,000 re-invested into it,” Dr.
Larson said. “We have replaced
three stage floors, installed two
different sound systems, added a
professional follow-spot system
that follows the actors, and a glorious LED star curtain.
“We’ve renovated two dressing
rooms, installed computers for the
box office, and helped to purchase a
Steinway concert grand piano,” he
said.
People all across the region fill
Henderson Auditorium for the
annual Senior Follies productions.
This translates to about 5,000 visitors to the Anderson University
campus.
“We are proud to welcome all
the Senior Follies patrons to Anderson University,” Dr. Larson said.
“The university is thrilled with
Anderson Senior Follies.
“There’s nothing quite like it out
there. This is fresh enough to see
again and again. It’s become a rich
and exciting tradition.”

While doing Senior Follies keeps the cast young, one
of their secrets to life is to
be “young at heart.” While
the cast brings to the stage
a lifetime of experiences,
you would never know their
personal lives were anything
short of glorious.

Sponsorships offer
many opportunities
By ED GAULDEN
NHC
Before our show and during
intermission, you will notice that
there are rotating ads projected on
the large screen promoting sponsors who have given $500 or more
in financial support this year.
In this printed program, we once
again highlight our large donors
and also recognize businesses and
individuals who contributed $100
and more on the bottom of page 3.
A sponsor of $500 or more not
only receives on-screen and inprint recognition at the show, but
also gets a year-round spot on our
Web site and a direct link to their
own site! In addition, they receive
a custom color photo book of the
show with their name listed.
Because ticket sales do not offset
show expenses, we actively seek
partnerships with businesses and
individuals. Sponsorship money
goes toward the
capital improvements of Henderson Auditorium.
