Bill Summary:
Directs the Department of Public Health to require that a residential swimming pool used for
private swimming lessons for up to 207 hours in a calendar month, or the number of hours
prescribed by local ordinance applicable to such use of a residential swimming pool, whichever
is greater, be regulated as a residential swimming pool used for commercial purposes.
Status:
Passed Senate with amendments by 26-21 on May 14. Passed House with amendments by a
vote of 54-42 on May 20. Now returns to Senate for concurrence with House amendments.
