Read a story book by Ruskin Bond or Sudha Murthy.
Write the name of the book and the character you liked
the most in the story. Also, find out the names of 2 more
stories/books written by the same author.
Write the summary of the story in a short paragraph of
about 10-12 lines.
Make a dictionary of adjectives. You can paste pictures
to make it more presentable.
Make a word chain. The last two letters of the word should be from
the first two letters of the next word. For example-Metal-AlmostStranger-Eruption….and so on. Try not to use any 3 or 4 letter words.
Write a paragraph of about 10 lines about each member of your
family.

Make a Maths Project File for the Holidays Homework.
A. TANGRAM
The Tangram is a puzzle consisting of seven shapes which can be put
together to form different figures and shapes. The method to make
shape is to cut the dark lines and paste them on a thick sheet of paper
to get your own shapes.
 Create a short story and make the characters of the story using
Tangram shapes. ( Make only 2 or 3 characters of your story
with the help of Tangrams Ex-Character of a rabbit, bird etc )
 Paste and write the short story in a A-4 size sheet. (only 8 to 10
lines)

 Collect some pictures of the Northern Mountains and life in the
region of various states of Northern Mountains. Paste the same
in your scrapbook. You can add some important information and
write few lines on each( like climate, history, culture,
monuments, dance, music, culture, famous personalities etc)
 Environmental sensitivity
Are you sensitive towards your environment? Share how you
contribute towards saving the earth.
Draw, paste picture of yourself and write a few lines on how you
make a difference to save your planet earth.
 Reflect on cleanliness, reduce, reuse, recycle, no pollution,
saying no to use of plastic, planting trees etc.
(Note- both the questions are to be done in the same scrapbook. The
same will be evaluated for F.A1)

TOPIC- EARTHQUAKES
