Continue south on Hwy 107 about 4 - 6 miles. You will be approaching the top of the mountain when the two laned Hwy 107 widens to three lanes. You will pass a Jackson County recycling center on your right at this point. When the three lanes narrows back down to 2 lanes, drive approximately one to two tenths of a mile to Pine Creek Road on your Right. Two "landmarks" to look for on Hwy 107 to find Pine Creek Road are: A. Mountain View Marine on your right B. Bryson Construction office on your left Turn RIGHT on to Pine Creek Road. Travel 3.3 miles along Pine Creek. This will take you along the northern shore of Lake Glenville (Thorpe Lake on map - name changed) which is the highest lake east of the Mississippi River. Just as you're leaving the northern shore line you will come to Cullowhee Mountain Road on your Right. Turn RIGHT on to Cullowhee Mountain Road, drive one mile to Arrowmont Stables. Turn RIGHT into Arrowmont Stables gravel driveway. You will come to a gate. The front gate may be closed but it is to keep horses in, not people out, simply unclip the barrel clip on the small chain, open the gate and shut it behind you. You will see the stables from the gate. From Bear Lake, plan about a 20 - 25 minute drive once you get to Hwy 107. Bear Lake development is rather large and I'm not sure where your home is located in the development.
