-Salon evening:
Sunday, June 14th at 5:30. The
event will be held at Fern
Nissim’s house: 35 Bay View
Drive, Shrewsbury. It’s on Lake
Quinsigamond, so bring a chair
and your sketchbook too. Bob
Nissim is an Audubon guide and
will give a brief talk about the
birds on the lake. Fern will speak
about various artists’ renderings
of sunset on water. Food and
beverages will be provided.
At the Credit Union: The Art of Being Human.
This show is all about being human. Ongoing until June
23.
Upcoming:
Sherwood Middle School: Opening of Core Values Art
Collection. These paintings are a wonderful
collaboration of artists, young and old. See it for yourself
on Tuesday June 2nd at 5:30.
At the Credit Union: As Far as the Eye Can See.
Whether it’s mountaintop or seaside, go wild with
stunning views of the miracle planet. Change up on June
23rd.
Tower Hill Botanic Garden: This show will be in
September. Details coming soon, but the theme is
nature. So start working on subjects like plants, wildlife,
pollinators, landscapes, fruit, etc.

Saturday July 25th 9:30-4:00 at
Artemas Ward House. 786 Main
Street, Shrewsbury. There are
bathrooms and house tours.

must preregister your entry info to Cindy at
[email protected] 508-829-5679. This simple step tells us
you are coming, and what you are bringing so we can
make labels. To Register, fill out the form on our website
(or attached with this email). It auto-fills, so you only have
to type the info once. Print, cut and tape one to the back,
keep one and bring the third with you. The guild receives
a 10% commission on all art sold at the Credit Union.
Fern Nissim will be taking over as
presentation chair for 2015-16. There is
still a vacancy for secretary, so let us
know if you’re interested.
