Welcome to Atlanta!
As part of the forthcoming ASFPM National Conference, we cordially invite you to the 3rd annual 5k run/walk event:
2015 Running of the Chapters
The race will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at 7AM at Piedmont Park, in the heart of Midtown Atlanta and a
short distance from the conference hotel. A fast, USATF-certified course wraps around Lake Clara Meer in the
park center and offers a stunning view of the Mid-Atlanta skyline.
Piedmont Park is not only a beautiful park in the middle of Atlanta; it also embodies the running culture of our
city. Atlanta hosts the world’s largest 10k event, Peachtree Road Race, held annually on 4th of July since 1970. Over
60,000 runners participate in this landmark event and Piedmont park is where the finish line is.
We are working hard and aspire to make this year’s Running of the Chapters a great experience for all. For the cost
of registration, we offer:

High-quality t-shirt with race logo and list of supporting chapters and sponsors (all registrants)
Transportation via bus from the conference hotel to the race and back
A commemorative finishers medal (first 100 finishers) – NEW THIS YEAR
Water, power bars, bagels, fruit at the finish line
Awards for top three finishers in men’s and women’s divisions
Award for the fastest runner this year
Award for the Chapter with the most registrants - NEW THIS YEAR
Please note that due to the production requirements, we can guarantee T-shirt in your size only if you register by May 20.
