THE OPPORTUNITY
We have a compelling opportunity for doers and changemakers who are passionate about spotting new
ideas and building entrepreneurial teams.
The Recruitment Coordinator will drive Ashoka’s global hiring growth by managing Ashoka’s recruitment
and selection process with colleagues across 35 countries and 6 regional hubs. They will build on Ashoka’s
unique and proven selection system to assemble an exceptional team of entrepreneurs for an Everyone a
Changemaker world.
The ideal candidate will:

be comfortable navigating complexity, and driven to turn multiple moving pieces into a concrete
and aligned outcome
an excellent communicator in both written and verbal form
gifted at negotiating the needs of diverse stakeholders, and creating spaces for consensus across
a large and dynamic organization
be a guardian for structure and order, but willing to take new approaches to reach a solution
This role will involve:

supporting Ashoka’s global team with recruiting processes including scheduling interviews,
organizing candidate travel arrangements, and reserving conference rooms
creating and distributing employment-related correspondence to candidates and prospects
maintaining a high level of confidentiality and professionalism at all times
We are looking for candidates who have had experience coordinating global recruitment and selection
processes, and are looking to take their next step by helping build an international and entrepreneurial
organization during a time of unprecedented growth. The Recruitment Coordinator will be based in
Washington, DC and will start work ASAP.
