Invitation Letter The Invitation Letter is attached with this General Information. 2. Preliminary Program (attached) The Final Program (including Training) will be distributed after the Official Entry Deadline (30 days before the Official Arrival day). The latest updates will be provided at the Technical Meeting. 3. Rules and Regulations th The 5 Asian Shotgun Championship will be conducted according to the ISSF and ASC Rules and Regulations. Detailed information is available on the ISSF website www.issf-sports.org. The Equipment Consultation Service will be available to all athletes on the Pre-Event Training days so that the athletes, if they wish, may have their equipment checked prior to the competition. The official Jury Members (Competition Jury, Jury of Appeal) will be designated by the Asian Shooting th Confederation to supervise the 5 Asian Shotgun Championship. Qualified Range Officers / Referees holding applicable ISSF licenses will officiate at the competition. 4. Participation Events Trap M & MJ Trap W, WJ D-Trap M & MJ D-Trap W, WJ Skeet M & MJ Skeet W, WJ Max. Number of starters 66 54 66 36 66 54 th The maximum number of starts per event can be handled during the 5 Asian Shotgun Championship. This range capacity is affected by the set time frames and the number of available ranges. If the maximum number of starts will be reached during the Final Entry process, a “waiting list” for the affected event(s) will be established and further arrangements will be handled in cooperation with the ISSF Headquarters and the Organizing Committee. Participation of shooters is as follows: i) Team ‐ One (1) team per country (Team consisting of 03 shooters) ii) Individual ‐ 5 Individual ISSF ID Number All athletes must sign an "Athlete's Declaration" and have an official ISSF ID number issued before th participation in the 5 Asian Shotgun Championship (ISSF Rule 3.6.6). Athletes without ISSF ID number will not be allowed to participate. ISSF ID numbers can be obtained from the ISSF Headquarters by using the official application form. 5. Entries & Entry Process All ASC Member Federations can enter a maximum of three (3) athletes, per individual event who may participate as (1) team in team events and up to two (2) additional athletes can participate as MQS. The MQS Extra athletes will be listed separately according to their results, but without ranking. All ASC Member Federations can enter a maximum of three (3) junior athletes, per individual event who may participate as (1) team in team events and up to two (2) additional junior athletes can participate as MQS. The MQS Extra athletes will be listed separately according to their results, but without ranking. Please note that the results of the ASC will be recognized as MQS for Rio 2016. Juniors are athletes, who will be under the age of 21 as on 31 December, 2015 Juniors may participate in one (1) category only; either in the junior’s or in the senior’s event. All ASC member federations are requested to complete the attached Registration Forms (Annex 1 – 9) and return them by the set deadlines. Preliminary and Final Entries for Athletes and Officials must be returned to the ISSF Headquarters. All other Registration Forms must be returned to the Organizing Committee (see also: Summary of Deadlines). The Preliminary entry must list all individual and team events by number for which the National Federation would like to participate. Please use the ISSF Online Registration Service http://entry.issf-sports.info, or exceptionally complete the Preliminary Entry Form (Annex 1) and return it by email or fax to the ISSF Headquarters. Final Entries All ASC Member Federations must forward their Final Entries directly to the ISSF HQ. The Official Entry th Deadline (30 days before the Official Arrival day) is 10 September 2015. Please use the ISSF Online Registration Service http://entry.issf-sports.info, or exceptionally complete the Final Entry Forms (Annex 3) and return them by email or fax to the ISSF Headquarters. Late Entries th Late Entries will only be accepted until 6 October 2015; 3 days before the Official Arrival day, which is th 10 October 2015. th Any additional entries received after the Final Late Entry Deadline, from 7 October 2015 onwards, will not be accepted. Entry Changes after the Final Entry Deadline th From 8 October 2015 onwards, only the following changes in the Final Entries are permitted: a) Replacement of a registered athlete by another already registered athlete in another event (ISSF Rule 3.7.3.6) can be made only before 12:00 the day before the Pre-Event Training for that event. b) Change of Status in an event (ISSF Rule 3.7.3.7): a MQS Extra athlete can replace a withdrawn regular athlete. The withdrawn regular athlete may not shoot for MQS Extra. The exchange of athletes within an event is not permitted. Entry Confirmation upon arrival The Team Leader of the ASC Member Federation must report to the OC Entries Official and confirm the Final Entries. The confirmation must be done before 12:00 the day before the Pre-Event Training. Cancellation Any ASC Member Federation reducing the number of athletes and / or officials after the Official Entry th Deadline (11 September 2015) is obligated to pay all applicable fees and costs including entry fees according to the number of athletes and entries on the Final Entry Forms originally received. If the applicable fees and costs are not paid no member of that federation may participate. Accreditation Process th All persons involved in the 5 Asian Shotgun Championship (Athletes, Team Officials, ISSF Officials, OC Officials) must have accreditations that clearly identify the accreditation holder (with photograph, family name and first name, nation and function) in order to use the local transportation and to enter the shooting range. Accreditations (for persons registered until the Final Entry Deadline and with photograph in the ISSF database) will be prepared by the ISSF Headquarters and Organizing Committee. All other accreditations th will be prepared by the Accreditation Office of the 5 Asian Shotgun Championship. Accreditations will be distributed by the Organizing Committee after payment of the entry fees. 6. Shooting Range th The 5 Asian Shotgun Championship will take place at the Azadi Shotgun Range in Azadi Sport complex Tehran, I.R.IRAN Address: Azadi Sport Complex, Tehran, I.R.IRAN The shooting range has 4 combined ranges for Trap/Double-Trap/Skeet and equipped with Matarelli machines and Elettronica Progetti Multi-Pull acoustic release system. The Skeet ranges operate with acoustic as well as manual release system. All ranges are equipped with Elettronica Progetti electronic scoreboards. The firing direction of the shooting range is north-east. The targets used for the 5th Asian Shotgun Championship are of “Arshan” Biodegradable Targets (Iranian Product); standard orange for the Qualification and flash orange for the Finals. 7. Visa and Other regulation All nations are requested to return the completed Visa Support Form and scanned copy of passport to the Organizing Committee no later than 10.09.2015 (Annex 7). Please kindly note that the scanned copy of passport of every foreign participant is necessary. Dress Code: Women's clothing in the shooting range and public places is required to conform to the rules and regulations of I.R. Iran. Currency: The currency of I. R. Iran is RIAL. 8. Accommodation Official Hotels 1. Azadi Hotel: (*****) • • Single room: US $130 per night Bed & Breakfast. Twin room: US $180 per night Bed & Breakfast. Having interactive TV in all the rooms that shows the guest invoice for the first time in Iran. High speed Internet connection (Wi-Fi), the distance between hotel to the shooting range 22KM. 2. Esteghlal Hotel - West Tower: (*****) • Single room: US $137 per night Bed & Breakfast. • Twin room: US $175 per night Bed & Breakfast. The distance between hotel to the shooting range 25KM. Preliminary Hotel *Above rates are inclusive of Buffet Breakfast. Reservation must be confirmed to the OC by 10.05.2015 (Annex 2). Final Hotel Reservation must be confirmed to the OC by 10.09.2015 (Annex 5). Room cancellations after deadline will be chargeable. Delegations and individuals are responsible for paying extra hotel charges not covered by the Organizing Committee. Food Service at the range Excellent lunch service as well as soft drinks and snacks items will be available daily at the Shooters Restaurant throughout the Championship. 9. Travel and Transportation Airport/Hotel Transfers The Organizing Committee will arrange free pickup/drop-off services from Imam Khomeini International th th Airports starting from 10 to 20 October 2015. All participating nations are requested to submit the arrival and departure details of their delegates on time (completed official Final Travel Form Annex - 4). Athletes and officials not staying at the official hotels will be responsible for their own transport. Local Transportation – Shuttle Service All accredited participants staying in the official hotel accommodation, will be provided free transportation th th between hotel and shooting range on all days of the competition i.e. from 11 until 19 October, 2015 by shuttle bus services. Timetables/Schedules of transportation will be posted at all the official hotels and the shooting venue. 10. Weather Information: Tehran's Temperatures during the competition period is 16°C to 27°C. Average humidity is 23 to 50%. 11. Competition Related Procedures at the Range Technical Meeting th The Technical Meeting will take place on 11 October 2015, in the Meeting Hall at the 10 m. Shooting range amphitheater. The time of the meeting will be at 1400 hours. Each participating ASC Member Federation should have at least one representative present to receive updated information regarding Final Program (including Training), draw procedures and other important th issues related to the 5 Asian Shotgun Championship. Storage of Firearms and Ammunition Gun storage will be provided at the shooting range. Firearms will not be transported to and from the hotel. A storage space will be provided for equipment bags and ammunition at the shooting ranges. Ammunition International brands of shotgun ammunition will be available at the shooting range such as: RIO Glavpatron – B&P and also Iranian made cartridges Oghab. Price: USD 12.00 to 15.00 Anti-Doping Tests The Organizing Committee will conduct doping controls according to the ISSF Anti-Doping Rules and the ISSF Test Distribution Plan under supervision of the Technical Delegate. 12. Ceremonies Opening Ceremony th The Opening Ceremony will be held on 11 October at the Azadi Sport Complex. Award Ceremony Award Ceremonies will take place at the Shooting Range immediately after the end of each final. During the award ceremonies the athletes are required to present themselves in their official national uniform or national tracksuits (tops and bottoms). Flags and Anthems All participating teams are required to bring with them three (3) of their national flags (Minimum size: 1m x 1.5 m approximately) and one national anthem on standard CD (40-50 seconds) 13. Media Relations th All National/International media representatives must register for the 5 Asian Shotgun Championship by using the Media Accreditation Form (Annex 9). 14.
