Sew border strips together end to end if necessary to get the length needed. Sew side borders first. Border 1 Refer to the quilt photo for placement of assorted print 2½” x 8 7/8” rectangles. Sew 4 assorted print 2½” x 8 7/8” rectangles together for the right side border. Sew 4 assorted print 2½” x 8 7/8” rectangles together for the left side border. Sew the right and left side borders to the quilt center. Refer to the quilt photo for placement of assorted print 2½” x 9¼” rectangles. Sew 4 assorted print 2½” x 9¼” rectangles together for the top border. Sew 4 assorted print 2½” x 9¼” rectangles together for the bottom border. Sew a black dot 2½” square to each end of the top and bottom borders. Sew the top and bottom borders to the quilt center. Border 2 Side borders should be 2¼” x 38”. Top and bottom borders should be 3” x 43”. Border 3 Refer to the quilt photo for placement of assorted print 2½” x 9” rectangles. Sew 5 assorted print 2½” x 9” rectangles together for the right side border. Sew 5 assorted print 2½” x 9” rectangles together for the left side border. Sew the right and left side borders to the quilt center. Sew 5 assorted print 2½” x 9” rectangles together for the top border. Sew 5 assorted print 2½” x 9” rectangles together for the bottom border. Sew a black dot 2½” square to each end of the top and bottom borders. Sew the top and bottom borders to the quilt center. Finish quilt by layering the quilt top, batting, and back.
