The current livestock facilities are outdated and no longer meet
the needs of our livestock programs.
Our goal is to raise funds to build a multi-purpose livestock
building that will house swine, beef, rabbits and poultry projects.
The facility will be adaptable to the changing numbers of animals
from year to year.
The facility will be attached to the current sheep/goat facility.
During the fair off-season, the open design will allow the building to be used for other activities and events. Money from building rental will be used to support the Asotin County Fair.
An architect will be used to design this structure.
A fund has been established with the Asotin County Treasurer/
County Commissioners for the exclusive purpose of building
this multi-purpose facility.
*We have raised approximately $50,000 but expect to need in
excess of $250,000 to complete this project.
Wall of appreciation
A display will be constructed for the
sponsors of this new facility. It will
be permanently installed once the
building has been constructed. Until
that time, the wall will be mobile and
will be displayed during the Asotin
County Fair. The bricks will be 2x6
for $250 and larger donations; 1x3 for
$50 to $249 donations.
