Drop The Boss – Rock FM Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions should be read in conjunction with Bauer’s existing competition terms &
conditions.
Drop The Boss
Rock FM’s Drop The Boss is a fundraising mission, which will give bosses in Lancashire the chance to
skydive at Black Knight Parachute Centre to raise money for Cash For Kids.
Drop The Boss launches on Tuesday 22nd April, with entrants registering their interest online, and via
texts and phone calls when prompted to get in touch by the On-Air Presenter.
Bosses will be selected by the end of Friday 25th April, to then be announced on air.
Entering
Entrants must be over 18 and in suitable health to complete the sky dive.
Entrants must tell us why they should have the opportunity to Drop The Boss, and how much money
they will be able to fundraise for Cash For Kids
Entrants should ask around the office/school/factory and state with as much accuracy as possible
how much money they can raise.
Selection
Rock FM and Cash For Kids will facilitate as many bosses to be dropped as possible. The decision is
final.
Fundraising
The selected entrant should fundraise in the lead-up to Cash For Kids Day (2nd May) and present a
cheque for the collected monies to Cash For Kids on the day itself.
Partaking
Entrants enter at their own risk. Bauer Media/Cash For Kids/Rock FM accept no liability for entrants
who suffer injuries or accidents as a result of partaking in Drop The Boss.
Rock FM will liaise with the ‘bosses’, and the Black Knight Parachute Centre, to organise a time to do
the Sky Dive. It will be either 2nd/3rd/4th/5th May, so those days must be available for the selected
boss at 10am.
Rock FM withhold the right, for a valid reason, to cancel the Sky Dive. Likewise, the Black Knight
Parachute Centre reserve the right to cancel for any reason on their part, for instance because of
poor weather.
The Sky Dive will take place at the Black Knight Parachute Centre in Cockerham (near Lancaster)
from 15,000ft in the sky, freefalling to 5000ft where a parachute will then see them land. This will be
a tandem skydive with a professional instructor.
Bosses will be filmed/recorded during the sky dive, which will then be used on Rock FM and on its
associated social media / online pages.
The bosses may be used for interviews, photographs and films in the run up to, and during the Sky
Dive.
