Dear Fellow Graduate Emeritus, Can it be that it has been 50 years since you graduated from West Virginia University? For many of us, it seems like yesterday. You are part of a special group. You share unique perspectives and strong ties to your alma mater. Your University is proud of all you have done to support the institution over the years. To celebrate your legacy, we are inviting you to return “home” to WVU for our 2015 Graduate Emeritus Reunion (June 4-6). This year we will honor and celebrate alumni who have graduated 50 or more years ago, including members of the Class of 1965 and graduates prior to 1965. We have an exciting program planned. You can enjoy golf, tennis and fitness center activities at the fabulous Lakeview Golf Resort & Spa. Others may attend various alumni-related events on campus that weekend, including the Order of Vandalia Ceremony/Alumni Luncheon. We have put together outstanding presentations from various units on campus to bring you up to date on academic and athletic programs, campus improvements, student life and more. Attendees will have the opportunity to take a bus tour of the WVU campus to see the amazing changes that have taken place during the past 50 years, including several stops along the way. Many of you will have opportunities to reconnect with your college/school during special activities some have planned. The weekend will end with a formal celebration of our 50+ year graduates during our induction ceremony on Saturday evening. This will be followed by dinner and a dessert reception hosted by the WVU Foundation. Lakeview Golf Resort & Spa has provided great room rates and terrific facilities for us to use.
