The newly founded “FELS-Project” uses the positive energy of football to support Tanzanian
youths in school matters and regarding their lifes’ perspectives. At the beginning a few hundred
children and adolescents get supported along the three project pillars Football, Education and
Life Skills.
Internship / Voluntary Service Football Development Aid m/f
Help us to establish a unique sports and educational development project in Mwanza/Tanzania!
(Duration: 6-12 months; starting date: August/September; type: internship without payment)
Responsibilities:
● Establishing two FELS HUBs and a regional FELS support concept as one of four members of an international
project volunteer team on-site
● Organisation and holding of daily football trainings in our hubs and regular FELS coaching courses in the
region
● Further development of the educational FELS offers in addition to school (homework support, English lessons)
● Social Work with the FELS kids (communicating values during the daily FELS activities and during specific life
skills workshops)
● Public relations, networking and having a lot of fun during and after work
Requirements:

Willingness to make a difference after finishing school, during university or before the first job
Good English knowledge and openness towards new cultures
Enthusiasm for football and social work
Organisational skills, flexibility, ambition and an autonomous working style
Humour, team spirit and communication skills

Mentoring through Tanzanian project leader and German project team

Enough days off to discover Africa’s probably most beautiful country (Serengeti, Zanzibar, Mount Kilimanjaro)
