We are pleased to send you the information package for the French Open
Championships to be held from 09th to 10th June 2015 in Stade Charléty, Paris.
These championships are organised by Fédération Française Handisport and IPC
approved.
FRENCH OPEN CHAMPIONSHIPS
An event held in Paris between the Switzerland and Italian IPC Grand Prix
Programme from 08th to 11th June
Arrivals are possible from Monday 8th June and last departures on Thursday
11th June
Training on 8th and 9th June & competition on 9th and 10th June
 Transfer Switzerland IPC Grand Prix / Paris / Italian IPC Grand Prix upon
request to the Organizing Committee.
Entries
Entries of the athletes should be made directly by the clubs or the nations
(NPC or NF) with the entry form attached. The entry deadline is 26th May
2015. Late entries will not be accepted. Athletes can be entered in the
events of their choice. No MQS is required by the organisation.
Withdrawals
Withdrawals should be made before the start of the technical meeting at
the latest: Monday from 3pm-7pm and Tuesday from 10am-3pm at the
competition office. A penalty of 50 € per athlete and per event will be
applied for last minute withdrawals and changes (excepted for medical
contraindication).

Located in Stade Charléty. Open from Monday 8th June from 3pm-7pm, on
Tuesday 9th June from 10am-9pm and Wednesday from 9am-8pm.
Accreditation, programme and all forms will be available at the competition
office. Direction information will be made on the competition venue

Entry fees
 NPC or NF : 50 € per athlete for the entire competition
 French Clubs: 10 € per athlete for the entire competition
Entry fees should be paid no later than 26th May 2015 by bank transfer for
the foreign delegations and/or by cheque for the French Clubs.

Under the IPC Athletics Rules and Regulations.
Licences
Each athlete must hold a 2015 IPC Athletics License in orderto participate in
this event.
Doping Control
In accordance with the the French Laboratory (AFLD) procedure.
Technical meeting
The technical Meeting will be held on Tuesday 9th June at 3pm in Stade
Charléty. The bibs will be distributed during the technical meeting. A
maximum of two representatives per club or per delegation (NPC or NF) is
mandatory. Start lists will be available just after the technical meeting. An
athlete who fails to attend an event whereas he is in the start list will be
disqualified for the rest of the competition.

Call Room
Athletes must wear the bib in the call room. Report to the call room is
mandatory for all events. Any athlete who fails to report to the call room will
be excluded from the event.

Track Access
Entrance in the track can be made only from the call room. Only the identified guides with a bib (to be collected in the
call room) and the accredited members (form distributed in the competition office and to be handed over to the call
room), will be authorised to enter the stadium.
Training & Warm-Up
The competition venue will be open for the training on Monday 8th June from 3pm to 7pm and on Tuesday 9th June
from 10am to 1pm. Lanes 1-2 will be dedicated for wheelchair athletes. A warm up venue will be at the disposal of the
athletes during the competition days. Warm up time will be also scheduled for the wheelchair athletes in the
competition programme on the competition venue.

Events
100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, 5000m, 4x100m, 4x400m, High Jump, Long Jump, Shot Put, Discus, Javelin, Club.
All the events will be direct finals excepted for 100m standing men and women.
Heats will be made up by category and by personal best.
Ranking
France has its own scoring table for translating a performance into a number of points. The factor used takes into
account the class of the athlete and world record of the relevant event. For each event and for each disability type
(standing or wheelchair) there will be a specific ranking and the award of medals.

Upon request, a free shuttle service will be provided to the arrivals from train stations (Paris Nord, Paris Est, Gare de Lyon
and Montparnasse) or airport (Orly or CDG airport) to the hotel and from the hotel to the competition venue. A welcome
is planned by the volunteers of the organization on the arrival venues. Important : only accommodations in the hotels
list will be served.

Upon request, we have the possibility to organize a visit in Paris.
ACCOMMODATION (Hotels list attached)
A list of hotels located near the competition venue has been selected. It is your responsibility to book hotel and we
encourage you to book as soon as possible. For any question regarding your accommodation and for any problem, do
not hesitate to contact the Organizing Committee.
CATERING
Catering is at your expense on the accommodation venue. The Organizing Committee will offer catering free of charge on
Tuesday and Wednesday (lunch only) at Cité Universitaire located near the competition venue.
MEDICAL
A first aid medical and physiotherapist services will be provided in the competiton venue.
NPC or NF must ensure that their team members have appropriate medical insurance.
VILLAGE
A village of sports activities will be organized from 9th to 10th June around the competition stadium.
