• What do I want to learn?
w w w. a ttra c tion s a f r i c a . c o . z a
3- 4 JUNE 2 015
• Who are the key influencers I want to meet?
You can see who attended last year on the website. Once
you register as a delegate for 2015 you’ll have access to the
attendees list so you can prepare a strategic plan to approach
people you’d like to learn from. The conference app will also
assist with connecting.
• Will I acquire new prospects or meet potential partners?
Opportunities to build business relationships should be actively
sought out and will contribute to personal and professional
growth.
With the venue located in the V&A Waterfront, dozens of
Attractions are within walking distance so before and after the
conference each day you’re encouraged to get out a see a
few. Take a walk with a new connection.
Plus, the second annual Attractions Conference is big enough
to offer a stimulating range of potential contacts, yet small
enough that connections can be made through personal
introductions.
• Will I reinforce existing relationships?
Attractions Africa 2015 will be the best opportunity this year
to meet your peers in person, discuss your current business
challenges, and contribute to growing stronger as a network
of Attraction Managers.
Be sure to step out of your comfort zone and meet new people
as well. With two days of conference and a social gathering in
the evening, you’ll have plenty of time to connect.
• Will I have a chance to contribute or to create content
of my own?

With an active Twitter community, a Delphi Inquiry currently
underway and a pre-conference survey of attendees,
Attractions Africa 2015 is all about creating community and
crafting the most relevant programme possible.
We encourage tweeting and hope that all delegates will be part
of growing the social media footprint of the conference. Be
sure to use the hashtag #Attractions15. Share your Attraction.
Promote a colleague’s new feature. Tweet your conference TO
DO list. Blog about it.
During the conference there will always be plenty of time for
sharing, Q&A and small group discussions.
