Tracy Colgan Bio:
Tracy Colgan currently serves as Chair of AustCham Beijing. Tracy is also President and Beijing-based
Managing Director of Kamsky Associates, Inc. In these capacities, she is responsible for the overall
management and strategic direction of KAI, as well as overseeing the structuring and implementation of
client engagements involving China and the Asia Pacific Region.
In addition to her executive and management responsibilities, Tracy remains heavily involved in strategy
formulation and implementation for KAI’s clients. Her experience has spanned a range of sectors and
functional areas, including financial services, automotive, natural resources, aviation, specialty chemicals
and printing and packaging for a global client list, and she has been actively involved in facilitating
investments into and out of China, and within the Asia Pacific region.
Tracy is a graduate of Melbourne University with a B. A. (Hons) in Chinese Literature and a B. Comm with
a major in comparative economics. She first came to China a recipient of a corporate scholarship in
1987, and continued with postgraduate studies in Wuhan and Beijing before joining KAI in 1993. She has
been named as a “Leading Australian in Asia” and one of Australia’s “50 for the Future” and has served
on the Board of AustCham Beijing since 2010.
