Presents SELF EXPLORING THROUGH ART WITH TWO DYNAMIC ARTISTS Janet Carroll & Tracy Fehr SATURDAY, June 6th, 2015 10am to 3:30pm Janet Carroll is a Winnipeg paper marbler and book artist. She enjoys teaching marbling and bookmaking to adults and children. Paper marbling is a fascinating craft. It involves dropping paint onto a tray of thickened water, combing a pattern, then laying a sheet of paper onto the tray to pick up the design. Workshop participants will take home several unique prints. Tracy Fehr is a Winnipeg artist and counsellor who graduated from University of Manitoba. She has 20 years experience. Tracy believes we are all artists seeking to release things we have internalized. Art helps to externalize our feelings. Using traditional arts and crafts her workshop intends to help us look at our vulnerabilities and get in touch with our inner strength and courage. BRING FOOD TO SHARE FOR A POT LUCK LUNCH.
