2015 Scholarship Criteria

A completed application in blue, or black ink only.

A minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average of 2.50 on a 4.0 scale.

An official transcript in a sealed envelope.

Three letters of recommendation; Two (2) letters must come from a teachers,
counselor, or administrator, and one (1) letter from a community member. All letters
of recommendation must come from non-family members.

An African-American female graduating at the end of the 2014 - 2015 school year.

Documented community/volunteer service hours, with a verifying signature.

Acceptance into a postsecondary institution by the Fall 2015 semester. (August/
September)

Application must be postmarked by March 27, 2015, and mailed to P.O. Box 946
Bradenton, FL 34206. Attention: Scholarship Chairperson.
****Completed application, essay response, letters of recommendation,
and official transcript must be enclosed in a sealed envelope for the
application to be considered complete.
