of 17 scientific papers. Author of “Cote’s Clinical Veterinary Advisor: Dogs and Cats”, Flexural
deformity of puppies and kittens chapter. Lecturer at SCIVAC/AO courses: Distal Extremities, External
Fixation, Ao Masterclass Course on Advanced Corrective Osteotomies and at AO, ESVOT, VOS and
ACVS course on Corrective Osteotomies and Patella Luxation. Invited speaker at ACVS (American
College Of Veterinary Surgeons), ECVS (European College Of Veterinary Surgeons), ESVOT
(European Society of Veterinary Orthopaedics and Traumatology), VOS (Veterinary Orthopaedic
Society), BVOA (British Veterinary Orthopaedic Association), BAVOT (Bulgarian Association
Veterinary Orthopaedic Society), SIOVET (Società Italiana di Ortopedia Veterinaria), AOVET
International, AVORE (Advanced Veterinary Orthopaedic and Research). He developed the Fixin
device, the internal fixator with angular stability and conic coupling system. He was the secretary of the
SIOVET, Italian Society of Orthopaedics and Traumatology (2008-2011). Council Member of the
AVORE from 1/2010. He holds 2 patents (pending) to his name. He designed Tibial Tuberosity
Transposition Tool.

Chris has worked at The RVC since 1992. He is Professor of Radiology and Head of the Radiology
Service. He spends 50% time teaching and seeing patients in the Queen Mother Hospital for Animals.
He has various administrative roles for the College, including Chair of the Finals Examination Board
and Course Director for the MVetMed. Outside College, Chris has committee duties for both the
ACVR and the ECVDI. He is a frequent contributor to CPD and publisher.
