1. Question:
How does the PIN entry work?
Answer:
1. Enter the PIN-code with the help of the Virtual Keyboard.
2. Then press the center button
to close the virtual keyboard.
3. Then you have two options to confirm the PIN-code: Press the
Center button a second time
or tap "OK" in the lower left
corner of the display.
Note: At the time of the first use, the PIN-code request will be in the
English language. If you have successfully entered the PIN-code, the
T850 will ask for the preferred language. Please select your
preferred language. From now on, the T850 will use your language
of choice.
2. Question:
How can I save multiple photos?
Answer:
The T850 is supplied with a 512MB memory card that is already
located in the phone.
To save photos on the memory card you must perform the following
settings:
1. In the menu item "Multimedia - camera" tap the icon
.
2. Tap on the right arrow
until the menu item
"Adv. Settings" appears.
3. Then confirm this menu item by tapping on the icon
.
4. Now you are in the Settings where you can select the Storage:
Tap on the text "Memory Card":
5. Please confirm this setting with a check mark
on the
bottom left-hand corner.
6. Now all future photos will be stored on the memory card.

3. Question:
How can I change the shutter sound or other camera
settings?
The T850 offers a variety of camera settings such as shutter sound,
image size, self-timer, etc.
To access settings proceed as follows:
1. In the menu item "Multimedia  camera" tap the icon
.
2. The following settings are available:
EV, go to picture album/Video recorder, Scene mode,
Image size, Self-timer, White balance, Effects, and
Advanced settings.
3. To get to the individual menu items tap the right arrow
.
4. The last menu item is "Advanced Settings".
5. To get to this menu item, tap the icon
.
6. Here, the following settings are available:
Storage, Image Quality, Contrast, Shutter
Anti-flicker, Restore default settings.

4. Question:
Sending MMS is not working, what can I do?
Answer:
Sending MMS assumes that the MMS settings have been set
correctly in the T850 and your carrier has enabled this function.
The MMS settings are dependent on the respective carrier; therefore,
we recommend that you contact your network operator.
The MMS settings can be edited or created in the menu item:
"Settings  Connectivity  Data Account".
To confirm the data account go to menu item: Messaging 
Settings  MMS  Data account and confirm the desired Data
account with "OK"
If the MMS settings have been entered correctly, you can create and
send a MMS in the menu "Messaging  Write message MMS".
5. Question:
Multimedia  Show Images:
Why are not all images displayed that are on the phone or the
memory card?
Answer:
The T850 Image Display only displays images located in the phone
folder "Photos".
If a memory card is used, the T850 creates a folder with "Photos" on
the memory card, where all images taken with the T850 will be
stored, if the memory card has been set as storage location.
To view images on the memory card in the folder "Photos" you must
change the following setting:
Multimedia  Show images  press "Options" Select  9. Storage
and then Memory card and then confirm with OK.
Now all the images located in the folder "Photos" on the Memory
card should be visible.

6. Question:
How can I add a caller picture to a contact?
A prerequisite is that the phone contact has been stored on the
phone.
Please proceed as follows:
1. Select the desired contact
2. Press Options and select Edit
3. Under the title "Caller picture" the image "Standard" is
selected; you can change it to the following option by pressing
the arrow keys:
a. From camera: For immediate recording
b. From file: For already stored images in the phone or on
the memory card
c. Standard: The T850 uses the standard Caller picture
4. After you have selected one of the two options press "Options"
and confirm the option you selected in the 2nd menu item.
a. If you selected "From camera" the phone is now in
camera mode and you can create a photo.
b. If you selected "From file" the file manager now appears;
now you can browse to the desired image and confirm it
with "OK".
5. In order to successfully complete the setting please press
"Options" and then "Save".
Note: Photos for the "Caller pictures" are permitted to be used
only with the resolution (320x480) -"Wallpaper".
