WHAT WE DO: Match assistance SNAP (EBT) dollars spent on local food at participating markets in Greater Kansas City PROGRAM AIMS: Improve affordability and accessibility of healthy, local food in Greater Kansas City HOW TO DOUBLE YOUR DOLLARS Step 1 Bring SNAP card to Market(s) listed on the back of the flyer Step 2 Go to the Market Information Booth Step 3 Deduct amount from SNAP card at EBT machine Step 4 Receive market tokens (for SNAP and Beans&Greens Match) to purchase from farmers PROGRAM GUIDELINES SNAP purchases on “local” food receive a $1 for $1 match value (in tokens) of up to $25/week/SNAP cardholder. The match at City Market is $15/week/SNAP cardholder. A 50% discount is applied on eligible produce at Harvest Learning Center and Troostwood. Kansas markets also match Senior Coupons from the Senior Farmers Market Nutritional Program. Seniors receive up to $30 in matching dollars per year. SFMNP rules apply. Tokens must be redeemed at the farmers market where issued. Beans&Greens reserves the right to change match amounts at any time.
