March 23, 2015 Dear Coach, Pilot Point High School would like to invite you to our inaugural lineman challenge, The Bearcat Bigs, on Thursday May 7th. This is an opportunity to highlight our lineman through a competition before the school year is out. Our goal is to acknowledge their skills and value to our teams in the same way we do with our skill positions during 7 on 7. We are going to highlight power, strength, quickness, teamwork and communication within our events. We are putting together a spectacular event by partnering with the US Army and multiple local business in order to provide a great day for each of our Big Men. Our hopes is to have this become an annual event we all work toward and our Bigs look forward to competing in each Spring. Each member of the team will compete in the following: weigh in, 5105 relay, 1 individual event, 1 small group event, and 3 team events. We will also provide a meal and tshirt for each Big and care package for each team that participates. We will have trophies for the first through third place teams.
