NATALIE GRAYSON, PRINCIPAL Page 3 Proactive 7th Graders Will Earn a Party on 3/24 One of the ways we are building leaders at Berwick is by teaching students HOW to lead. We can all agree that before you can lead anyone else, you must first learn how to lead yourself. As we groom our “senior” class of 2016, our current 7th graders, we are offering them an incentive to show us how well they can lead themselves. They’ve learned that being PROACTIVE means to have self-control and to be in charge of yourself. It looks like making right choices no matter who’s making wrong choices. 7th grade teachers are on the lookout for students being PROACTIVE this month. All students who earn 10 PROACTIVE cards will be able to participate in the PROACTIVE PARTY just for 7th graders from 2:003:00 on Tuesday, March 24. If you have a 7th grader, please ask them about being PROACTIVE and encourage them to earn those cards. We want to reward 7th grade leaders!! 3rd Graders Go Camping 3/26 and 3/27 3rd graders are going to Camp Heartland on 3/26 and 3/27. Please look for details coming home with your child. Support Our McDonald’s STEAM Fundraiser on 3/24 Plan to eat dinner at McDonald’s at 3005 E. Livingston Avenue and support a great cause! We’re raising funds for our STEAM Night in May by serving up delicious burgers, nuggets, salads, and fries on Tuesday, March 24th. Berwick will get 20% of the proceeds!
