Only a lined bathing suit is allowed to enter the Water. No athletic shorts, cotton, or any other form of clothing is allowed in the water. Only a proper lined Swim Suit/Shirt is allowed. 2. Children not potty trained must wear a Proper Swim Diaper to enter the water. Regular diapers will not be permitted under any circumstances. 3. NO street shoes are allowed on the Pool Deck, only sandals and water shoes are allowed. 4. NO outside food, drinks, or coolers are permitted. NO vending food allowed. Must be consumed in the lobby. 5. NO food or drink (with the exception of water) is allowed on the Pool Deck. All food and beverages must be consumed in the Concession stand area. 6. Alcoholic beverages, Illegal substances, and any form of illegal or questionable activity are FORBIDDEN on the premises. Authorities will be immediately notified, charges will follow, and will result in patron’(s) being banned from entering the facility for the entire season. 7. We retain the right to refuse entry or services to anyone at our discretion. 8. ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY. Any unsafe activity or Disrespectful behavior to our Recreational Staff or patrons will not be tolerated. The Safety and feelings of comfort at our facilities is our number One Priority. We retain the right to BAN anyone from our facilities and programs. 9. Patrons 6 years and younger must be accompanied by an Adult (18+) 10. Patrons 7 to 10 years old must be accompanied by a responsible patron. (16+) 11. Patrons 11 years old and older may enter the facility without an adult. 12. Swimming Goggles are allowed however swim goggles covering the nose are NOT ALLOWED! 13. Flotation devices and built in lifejackets are not allowed for safety precautions. Only American Coast Guard Approved Life Jackets are allowed but patron must be accompanied by an adult. 14. Only water absorbent balls are allowed in the pool area. No hard balls Ex. Football, tennis balls, etc. Only water based toys are allowed in the facility at the Aquatic Supervisors discretion. We retain the right to forbid toys deemed unsafe. 15. NO Smoking Allowed within 20 feet of the Recreation Facilities. 16. NO admittance for Day Swim after 4:30pm nor Night Swim after 7:30pm 17. The lifeguards are here to prevent injury and ensure fun and safety, not a babysitting service. Authorities will be notified if children under 11 are left unsupervised in the pool or the facility. 18. A Picture ID, School ID, or Library Card is required for entry of all Patrons. 19. No refunds will be given due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances not in our control. 20. Only Cash is accepted for a Daily Pool Pass. Debit/Credit or Cash will be only accepted for Season Passes and Registration of our Aquatic Programs. 21. For the safety of all the children in our facility children must be accompanied by an adult when entering the locker rooms. Children left unsupervised in the Locker rooms will be considered abandoned and authorities will be notified. 22. The Berwyn Recreation Department retains the right to change or add rules at our discretion. 23. NO Running allowed anywhere on pool deck, locker rooms, or the Recreation Center. 24. NO DIVING allowed in the pool except for the Diving Board. 25. NO profanity or inappropriate gestures or comments. 26. ALL patrons must shower before entering the POOL.
