Tails on the Trail
Exhibitor Application
Tails on the Trail, Best Friends of Pets’ annual run/walk to help reduce pet homelessness and overpopulation,
will be held Saturday, April 18, 2015 at Wheeler Park, 1120 S. Western along the Oklahoma River in Oklahoma
City. 5K run is at 9:00 a.m. and 1 mile walk is at 10:00 a.m. Tails on the Trail ends at 12:30 p.m.
Guidelines:
1. All items and services being promoted at Tails on the Trail complement the mission of Best Friends of Pets
and are not in direct competition with Best Friends of Pets or our sponsors. No items are allowed to be
sold at the event.
2. Best Friends of Pets will determine the location in a grassy area for each exhibitor space. Any locations
determined prior to the event day may be changed on the day of the event by event staff.
3. No water or electrical connections are available at booths.
4. Exhibitors must provide their own table, chairs, tent and signs.
5. You are responsible for your own loading, unloading and tent setup. Exhibitors can set up between 7:30
a.m. and 8:30 a.m. the day of the event and must be ready by 8:30 a.m. Plan to arrive early to unload your
car and move to a parking space.
6. Exhibitors must pack up immediately following the end of the event at 12:30 p.m. No pack up is allowed
before 12:30 p.m. without permission of event staff.
7. Exhibitors are responsible for cleaning up their area after the event.
8. Items given out should be safe for children and animals. No chocolate.
9. Dogs are allowed in booth spaces. All dogs must be on leashes no longer than 6 feet or in crates at all
times, current on vaccinations, not be in heat, and not be aggressive.
10. No animals of any kind may be sold on or near the event grounds. Animals from nonprofit/rescue
organizations may be adopted.
11. No refunds will be issued.
12. Event will be held rain or shine.
13. You may not “sublet” your booth space in whole or in part. You are also not allowed to share your booth
space with another organization or business unless approved by Best Friends of Pets.
14. All applications are deemed accepted unless we notify otherwise.
RELEASE: I, the undersigned, hereby for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators or anyone else who might claim on
my behalf, hold harmless and release Best Friends of Pets, The City of Oklahoma City, race officials, volunteers, sponsors
and employees for any action relating to Tails on the Trail, including theft, damage or injury. I agree to pay all reasonable
attorney fees and costs incurred by Best Friends of Pets as a result of actions by me that are covered by this agreement. I
further grant full permission to Best Friends of Pets, sponsors and or agents authorized by them to use any photographs,
videotapes, motion pictures, recordings or any other record of this event for any purpose.
