Owner’s 3 rd Anniversary Sale & Celebration – Exciting, Easy, and Enjoyable!!
Our exciting Anniversary Trilogy kicks off this month! There will be door prizes and gift certificates given at each of
the classes and Pouch Shows. It will be lots of fun and we want YOU to join us for these special ten days events! Call or
stop by to sign up before all the spaces are gone as the American Pride and Place It Not Plunk It Endless Block classes
are already filled.
The details of the nine classes, two sale days, and two Pouch (Trunk) Shows are on page 3. Pictures of projects
are on our website. We are making classes so easy – you will finish your projects during these classes; we are putting the
kits together for you; with the exception of the embroidery class, we are providing the Janome MC8900 machines for
you to sew on; the Mariner’s Compass Class is an easy construction class and will be completed in a half day – it is not
a learn how to make a Mariner’s compass over three days but rather in a half day – you will be amazed – we are offering
Mariner Compass classes on Friday evening, August 2, and Sunday afternoon, August 4, when many of YOU have
asked us to hold classes – so sign up to enjoy these special classes!
We are excited to welcome Mary Carollo, Janome Educator, and Kym Goldup-Graham, co-owner of Australian
company The Sewing Revolution. You will not want to miss meeting these very talented ladies who will be bringing
samples to further inspire your passion of sewing.
After the events, the Janome MC8900 will be offered at a very special price since they have been used in the
classroom. You can trade in your machine too – what a deal! You can try out these machines at Janome MC8900
Test Drives on Tuesday, July 30, 6-9 pm, and Wednesday, July 31, 10 am–1 pm. You will be making a
small Essentials Bag during the Test Drive that you will take home and enjoy. We will only have a few machines for this
special sale and they will only be available until August 9 as they will be returned to Janome on August 10.

Moore’s Sewing Floor Model Sale During July and August or Until They Last!
Floor model SALE of Janome and Elna sewing and embroidery machines and one remaining Koala Cabinet during the
months of July and August! Only the floor models that have been on the floor nine months or longer will be sold at
reduced sale prices, so shop early. Each machine is marked with a star-burst sale price.
Floriani Christmas in July Sale & October 17, 18, & 19 Tour
We all love sales! Floriani offers bi-monthly specials and the current one taking place is Christmas in July. One of the
major highlights of this sale is all four of the Precious Moments Collections are only $69.99 each. On August 1, the
price will rise to $99.99, so buy them early. There are thread collections where you receive bonus Christmas designs and
projects. We have some of these stitched out on a tea towel and a bell pull.
October 17, 18 & 19 is the Floriani Quilting and Embroidery Tour, 10 am – 4 pm daily, $49
(includes gift box and box lunch). Pre-registrations being taken now and we will start collecting fees after our 3
Anniversary Celebration. Each class limited to 27 people, so make sure to pre-register for one of the three days now. All
three days are identical.

Pam Damour’s Home Decorating For the Holidays – November 3 & 4
We are excited to welcome back Pam Damour, The Decorating Diva, for two days of Home Decorating for the
Holidays Trunk Shows and Hands-On Workshops. There will be NEW home décor sewing classes for all makes of
machines; no embroidery classes. Pam was the guest presenter for our first anniversary celebration in 2010 and many
people enjoyed her unique projects and home decorating ideas. Space is limited in our classroom so pre-register now!
We will begin collecting the fees in mid to late August.

Help Us Make Quilts for Sunrise Children’s Services Boys Home
We need your help! We have been asked to make twin-size quilts for the boys at Sunrise Children’s Services. The
boys are 12 to 18 years of age and have suffered from abuse or severe neglect in their home life. These boys enter the
home with nothing, but the quilt they receive is their own to keep. We need all quilts by December 10. Ask Shelia
Meredith, Louisville Project Linus Coordinator, Linda, or the Moore’s Team for further information. The approximate
size is 60 to 70” by 80 to 90”. The fabric of the quilt should be appropriate for a tween or teenage boy.
