Chores: Good for everyone
I know it’s a good idea to give children chores. But by
the time I listen to my daughter complain and show
her what to do, It seems easier just to do the work

On Friday, May 6, at 8:05 in the Multi-purpose Room,
the Bevis faculty will honor all volunteers that have
dedicated time to assist faculty members and students. Bevis volunteers make a difference and contribute to the success of our school. *This event will
also honor new and prospective business partners. If
you plan to attend, please RSVP to Rebecca Thoms,
Assistant Principal, at 740-4000, ext. 228.
Thank you, parents and students, for supporting us at
Relay for Life and for your overwhelming generosity for
the Bevis PTA Mini Relay for Life and the Coins for a
Cure Drive to benefit the American Cancer Society.
The total raised from the two events was $11,130.00
Wow!! What a wonderful expression of your support
for this very worthy cause. Congratulations to the boys
for winning the Mini Relay Competition and the Coin
Drive!!

FEE-BASED SUMMER CAMP
The dates for the Bevis Summer Camp will be June
15 - 25th, meeting Mondays-Thursdays ONLY, to accommodate the 4 day district-wide summer schedule.
Student hours will be 8:00-12:30pm. Please turn in
your registration forms as camps are filling up.
